Himani Shivpuri Shares Incident Of Salman Khan And Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's Affair, 'Isko Samjhao..'

Bollywood has witnessed several love stories, but few of them later became controversies. One such popular love story is of actors, Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. The duo, who was once the most-talked couple, has been grabbing a lot of attention lately because of revelations by industry people. Recently, actress, Himani Shivpuri recalled an incident from their relationship. 

Himani Shivpuri recalls Salman Khan’s relationship with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan

Recently, actress, Himani Shivpuri had a candid conversation with Red FM Podcasts, in which she opened up about the dating days of Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. She shared that, while shooting for the film, Humara Dil Aapke Pass Hai, she and Aishwarya became good friends and at that time Aishwarya and Salman's relationship was also very strong. She shared that the Sultan actor used to come every night and leave in the morning. She explained:

"She was not very established back then. We were very close then, used to roam in vans. We would shoot in Hyderabad for Humara Dil Aapke Pass Hai. This was the time when she and Salman were going very strong, so Salman used to come every night and leave in the morning. She was very nice and very well read, and we used to talk a lot. And there were some things that I couldn’t share, of course. More than a beauty, I think she is a very nice person."

She continued to recall an incident when Salman Khan came to Himani to rant about Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. She shared that Salman was pissed with her and he wanted Himani Shivpuri to talk to the Jazbaa actress. In her words:

"I remember once we were shooting in Film City. Aishwarya was shooting with Abhishek for Rohan Sippy’s film, and Salman had come, and he was pissed. He was telling me, ‘Kya hai? Isko samjhao. Waheeda Rehman ko dekhe. Apne aap ko bohot khubsurat samajhti hai’. I used to tell him to calm down, to stay quiet."

Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai fell in love during the making of Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. Their on-screen chemistry soon blossomed into an off-screen relationship. They were often spotted together at public events. Reportedly, they dated for nearly three years. Their relationship ended in 2002, and reportedly, there were several allegations against Salman by Aishwarya. After their public breakup, the actress moved on and married Abhishek Bachchan.

On the work front, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was last seen in the blockbuster film, Ponniyin Selvan: Part II, which was released in 2023. Since then, she has been spotted a couple of times by the paparazzi and also appeared in Cannes 2025. 

Salman Khan, on the other hand, was last seen in the film, Sikandar and is currently hosting the popular reality show, Bigg Boss 19. The actor will next be seen in the war drama film, Battle of Galwan directed by Apoorva Lakhia.
