Himanshi Khurana and Asim Riaz became a hit jodi in Tinseltown, after their romantic relationship started off inside the popular reality show, Bigg Boss 13. Despite coming from completely different cultural and professional backgrounds, the two of them fell in love and even after the show, continued strongly together. Be it through their social media posts, collaborative projects or even joint appearances publicly, Himanshi and Asim made everyone believe that they were indeed quite serious about each other. Unfortunately, their sweet romance came to an end, when they announced their breakup and revealed it was due to their different religious faiths.
A few days back, a source close to Himanshi Khurana revealed to a leading news portal about how the Punjabi actress was extremely hurt and disturbed over her breakup with her ex-beau, Asim Riaz. The close source even mentioned that Himanshi had taken a lot of time to move on, yet she isn’t ready to speak about it. However, such unacknowledged reports were soon after corrected by Himanshi herself, as she penned a note on her social media handle about it. Adding how she prefers the luxury of privacy in her personal life, more than anything else, Himanshi’s note read as:
“My biggest flex is that nobody ever knows what’s really going on in my life. Where I am, or my next move, unless I make it known. Therefore anything anyone says is just an assumption. Privacy is my luxury. Privacy is my peace. Better do not try to be my close source.”

While Himanshi Khurana has duly rubbished rumours about being bothered by her breakup with Asim Riaz, it was an alleged source close to her, who previously mentioned that she was quite disheartened and upset over her ex-BF’s post, where he posed with a mystery girl and indicated having moved on. The source highlighted that Himanshi and Asim’s breakup was indeed messy, and as a result, the actress chose not to react to his post. The report mentioned:
“It was quite messy. The reason was their religion and that got ugly by the end. Himanshi is still very sensitive about that matter and avoids talking about it. She didn’t even react to his mystery girl pic. It took her a while to move on.”
Earlier, on March 5, 2024, Asim had taken to X (formerly Twitter) and penned a cryptic note, that summed up the current status of his personal life. He mentioned feeling lonely without any friends or partners. Asim further expressed that while there are no people around him, he is only guided in his path by the Almighty.

Right after the news of their breakup surfaced on the internet, Asim Riaz had dropped another note on his social media handle, that highlighted his side of the story to the major decision of his life. Asim expressed that he indeed broke-up with Himanshi, and added sacrificing their love for one another due to religious differences. He mentioned:
“Yes Indeed we both agreed to sacrifice our love for our respective religious beliefs. We both are 30+ and we have full right to take these mature decisions and we made it. We’ve decided to part ways amicably, embracing our individual journeys. Respect for Himanshi and our diverse path and yes indeed i told her to write the real reason for our separation. Request you to all to respect our privacy."
