Himesh Reshammiya Left Awkward After Wife, Sonia Kapoor's Funny Dig, Says, 'Tumhe Show Ki TRP...'

Himesh Reshammiya recently appeared on his wife, Sonia Kapoor's brand new podcast, The Sonia Kapoor Show. The singer-actor indulged in a candid yet entertaining conversation with his wife. The duo discussed various topics, including some of Himesh's secret obsessions. Himesh and Sonia were discussing his B-Town journey and his latest release, Badass Ravikumar, when the conversation took a hilarious turn, and Sonia playfully exposed one of Himesh's quirks. The podcaster revealed that the actor was completely obsessed with himself.

Sonia revealed that Himesh usually takes hours to get ready because he takes time to admire himself in the mirror. She also complimented her husband and stated that he was ageing backwards. "What is your favourite thing about yourself? Apart from the fact that you like looking at yourself for four hours in the bathroom." Confused and surprised by Sonia's comment, Himesh asked, "What are you saying? Tumhe apne show ki TRP leni hai toh tum mere naam pe le rahi ho." To which Sonia stated:

"I am talking facts. You are like this. If you want to take a 9 am flight, you get up at 3 am to get ready. Who does that?"

Himesh Reshammiya defends himself 

Further in the conversation, Himesh Reshammiya defended himself and stated that he takes that much time because he doesn't want to feel pressured when he is getting ready. He added that he prefers to do it at his own pace. To which his wife, Sonia Kapoor, quipped and shared that he takes that much time so he can look at himself for hours. She said, "Yeah, so that you can look at yourself in the mirror for two hours." 

The revelation made Himesh Reshammiya visibly uncomfortable, and he asked his wife, Sonia Kapoor, what she was talking about. The couple's hilarious back and forth was a testament to their closeness as a couple. Sonia, pleased with the banter, shared that she was sorry about exposing her husband. Sonia was quoted as saying:

"I am sorry, main pol khol rahi hoon tumhari."

Himesh Reshammiya was married to Komal. However, the duo parted ways in 2017, ending their 22 years of matrimony. The couple shares a son, Swayam. Soon after their separation, Himesh found love once again with Sati fame actress Sonia Kapoor. A year later, on May 11, 2018, it was reported that the Bollywood singer, Himesh Reshammiya, got married to his then-girlfriend actress, Sonia Kapoor, in an intimate affair. According to the sources, the wedding was an extremely hush-hush event, and the duo had tied the knot on the terrace of the music composer’s apartment.
