Hina Khan Reveals BF, Rocky Shaved His Head Amid Cancer Battle: 'We Cried And Consoled Each Other'

Television star, Hina Khan has been quite candid about her healing journey after being diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. The actress, best known for her stellar performance in the popular show, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, and later her stint in Bigg Boss 14, has given yet another heart-touching glimpse into her cancer battle. She recently shared a deeply emotional note for her long-time partner, Rocky Jaiswal for his unyielding commitment to staying by her side through thick and thin.

Hina recently took to Instagram to share a heartfelt appreciation post for Rocky,  whose unwavering support has been her rock through this challenging phase. In a deeply emotional note, Hina described Rocky’s selfless actions, including shaving his head in solidarity with her when she lost her hair to chemotherapy. Addressing him as the ‘best human I know’, Hina shared how Rocky has stayed by her side as a rock ever since her diagnosis with cancer, and even shaved his head. She wrote:

“He shaved his head when I shaved and he only let them grow when mine started growing back. To the man who looks after my soul, To the man who always says “I GOT YOU”. To the man who is always by my side even if there are hundred reasons to give up.. To this selfless man who only knows how to hold on.”

From conducting medical research and preparing questions for her doctors to taking care of her physical needs, Rocky has been her guiding light throughout Hina’s treatment. She further recalled moments of hardship during the pandemic, when Rocky chose to stay with her despite the risks, wearing multiple masks to ensure her safety. Hina’s note read:

“We truly have lived a lifetime together and have stood with each other. From seeing through the toughest of times when we faced challenges in health during the pandemic… I remember he didn’t Have Covid in the peak of the Pandemic but chose to stay with me throughout, he wore 3 masks all day but made sure he took care of me. That’s Him! Specially during this phase of my Diagnosis.”

From the day of her diagnosis, Rocky has been by Hina’s side and has taken the role of her caregiver, which meant he had to prioritise her needs over his own, leaving his personal life behind. Expressing her deep admiration and gratitude for having gotten a partner like him, Hina wrote:

“He left everything and has been looking after me… From the day we started the chemo to this very day when I am going through my radiation he has been my guiding light. From cleaning me up to dressing me up, he’s done it all… He has created a field of impenetrable Protection Around me… You are the best thing that has happened to me.”
