Hina Khan Goes Bald To Protect Her Mental Health Amid Extreme Hair Fall Due To Chemotherapy

Hina Khan is undoubtedly one of the most successful names in Indian showbiz. She gained widespread fame and recognition for her role as 'Akshara' in the daily soap, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. After that, she participated in several reality shows like Bigg Boss and Khatron Ke Khiladi. Hina also made a name for herself in the film industry. However, Hina recently shocked everyone when she revealed that she was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer.

Hina Khan goes bald after facing extreme hair fall as a side effect of chemotherapy 

Hina Khan 'chose to accept her battle scars' as she boldly buzzed off all her hair. The actress is fighting for her life as she is diagnosed with stage three breast cancer. Recently, the actress shared a video on her IG dressed in a red tee shirt, and in there, she can be seen cutting off all her hair. Hina took this step after she faced extreme hair fall as an after-effect of chemotherapy.

Hina added that seeing her hair fall every minute of the day has taken a toll on her mental health, and she doesn't want to keep stressing over it. Hina emphasises the importance of mental health and how it plays a crucial role in people's physical health. Hina then proceeds to go bizz off her hair and encourages people in her situation to protect their mental health and embrace their scars. Hina further added:

"The pixie says ADIOS, It’s time to BUZZ it off ! Here’s another attempt to Normalise the hardest phase of this journey, aesthetically speaking. Remember ladies.. our strength is our Patience and calm. If we put our minds to it nothing is unattainable. Mind over Matter. Dua."

Hina Khan reveals how her mother gave her strength after she told her about her cancer diagnosis

On July 13, 2024, Hina once again graced her Instagram account with a heartfelt post. Sharing another chapter from her courageous battle against cancer. She accompanied her words with a series of pictures featuring her mother, all taken on the day she bravely disclosed her cancer diagnosis to her.

She further mentioned that even though her mother was initially shaken by the news of her cancer, she found the strength to hold Hina in her arms, providing her with the courage she needed to fight back. Sharing that a mother's heart can consume an ocean of sorrow for her children, the actress penned:

"A mother's heart can consume an Ocean of Sorrow and Pain to provide Shelter, love and comfort to her children. This was the day she received the news of my diagnosis. The shock that she felt was inexplicable, but she found a way to hold me and forget her pain. A Superpower in which Mothers excel always. Even her world was crumbling down, yet she found a way to shelter me in her arms and give me strength."
