Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actress, Hina Khan was extremely close to her father, late Aslam Khan and glimpses of the same are found on her social media handles. However, Hina had faced a major setback in her life on April 20, 2021, when she had lost her father to cardiac arrest. At that time, the actress was shooting for her upcoming show in Kashmir, and after hearing the heartbreaking news, she had immediately flew down to Mumbai. Though it has been more than a year since his demise, there has not been a single day when Hina does not miss her father.
On April 20, 2022, Hina Khan had taken to her IG stories and had shared a memorable video with her late father, Aslam Khan. The video had featured Hina playing 'Hide N Seek' with her daddy inside their house. The actress's dad had looked cute in a striped T-shirt and shorts while peeking from behind a wall. Sharing the lovely throwback video, Hina had penned a heartfelt note and had written:
"20th April 2021. This day changed our lives forever. Miss you dad."

A few hours ago, Hina Khan took to her IG handle and shared an unseen picture with her late father, Aslam Khan from her childhood days. In the picture, the baby girl was seen flaunting her bald head while she was riding on the Yak along with her father. She looked cute as a button wearing a pink-coloured frock paired with red sneakers. Sharing the beautiful picture, she mentioned how much she miss her daddy and that she can feel him in everything. Her caption can be read as:
"Always always always your girl. Aur kya likhun.. can’t express. I feel you in everything..I Miss you in everything.. #FathersDay #DaddysStrongGirl #MyGuidingLight."
She also took to her IG stories and shared some more childhood pictures with her daddy. In one picture, Hina and her father, Aslam were seen twinning in white ensembles while the baby girl looked too cute to be missed. In the following story, Hina shared a picture from her teenage while she was seen flaunting her chubby cheeks and cutely smiling as her father was hugging her from behind. In July 2021, Hina Khan had taken to her IG handle and had dropped a series of pictures as she had remembered her dad on his third month death anniversary. Hina had mentioned being called 'Daddy's strong girl'. However, she had also revealed how much she had struggled to stand firm since her father had left for the heavenly abode. Sharing the pictures, she had written:
"Tumhaari khushi mai hi meri khushi He said, a #Always The First one to clap for me (wholeheartedly) Miss the sparkle in your eyes Dad. Three Months Today 20th April 2021 DADDYS STRONG GURL This is what u always called me. Not that strong to bear your loss Dad."
