Hina Khan, who has shown her versatility in acting from playing the character 'Akshara bahu' in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai to being the evil vamp, 'Komolika' in Kasautii Zindagii Kay, has proved her worth being a great actress. She had also participated in Bigg Boss 11 and had shown how strong-headed and dedicated a woman she is! But amidst all this, she had faced a great loss on the personal front.
Her father, Mohammad Aslam Khan, passed away in April due to cardiac arrest. For the unversed, he had suffered from a heart attack when she was shooting for a music video with Shaheer Sheikh in Kashmir. Hina and her father used to share a beautiful and strong bond with each other. The actress was always her Daddy's little girl.

On Hina's 34th birthday, the actress couldn't bear the pain of losing her father and penned down a note for him and shared it on her IG handle with a series of pictures from her father's grave. She recalled in the caption how it used to be like a feast for her father on her birthdays and how he was the anchor in her life to keep her grounded. She even mentioned that it was difficult for her to celebrate her birthday without him being physically around.

She captioned her post as "It’s your princess’s Birthday Dad, Her first Birthday without you being physically around to record every single moment. Even if I can’t enter .. this is where I felt the most peaceful! In this life of utter chaos and movement you were my anchor and you still manage to hold me together..My birthdays were like a fest for you .. dear dad ..you enjoyed and celebrated every single bit of it like a kid.. the bouquets, the cakes, the appreciation and love your daughter gets on this special day.."

She went to her father's cemetery and offered him some 'birthday flowers'. She added in the caption, "Here I am .. Standing a few meters away .. forever close .. forever far but always connected. Hope you liked my birthday flowers as you did always .. Hope you liked people around you enjoying my birthday cakes..hope you saw the messages as you did always...hope my love reached you.. On the work front, Hina Khan has been doing a few web shows and recently the actress has bagged the Best Actress award for her film, Lines at the Iconic Gold Awards 2021, which was released on an OTT platform. She was last seen in Wish List and Hacked.
