Hina Khan has been going through a tough phase of her life after she was diagnosed with third-stage breast cancer at the age of 36. But Hina, being the warrior she is, decided to fight it and win the battle. The gorgeousness has kickstarted her chemotherapy session, and despite the pain, she has resumed her work. Hina proudly shared a mini vlog of her getting-ready session just before the shoot.
On June 15, 2024, Hina took to her Instagram handle and shared a video of her getting ready. The actress looked nervous as it was her first shoot after her first chemotherapy session for the treatment of breast cancer. Hina was dressed in a white-hued shirt dress and was getting her makeup. Hina, who had cut her hair short, was seen wearing a wig. Subtle makeup with soft lipstick completed her look.

In the video, Hina expressed her nervousness about getting back on camera. She also revealed how her makeup artist has been trying her best to hide her stitches after the chemotherapy session. Hina looked a bit sluggish, but her spirit was high, and it showed in the video. Along with it, Hina penned a note, and shared the challenges she faced. She wrote:
"My first work assignment after my diagnosis.. Walking the talk is challenging, especially when facing life’s biggest challenges. So, give yourself a break on bad days; it’s okay… you deserve it. However, don’t forget to live your life on the good days, no matter how few they are. These days still hold importance. Accept the change, embrace the difference, and NORMALISE it."
Hina further added that she is looking forward to the good days as she loves her work, and it keeps her motivated. She added that many people work during their treatments, and she is no different. Hina also clarified that she is undergoing her breast cancer treatment, but she is not always in the hospital. In her note, the actress also pleaded to normalise it. She wrote:
"FYI I am undergoing a treatment but I am not always in the hospital..so to all you people out thr, Let’s NORMALISE working and if you have the strength and energy, do whatever makes you HAPPY."

Hina ended her note with the message to people who are battling the disease that it is their story and their life, and they should be the ones deciding what to make out of it. She advised not to give up on your work and passion. She penned:
"And to all you beautiful people who are battling this disease. Remember, it’s your story; it’s your life. You decide what to make of it. Don’t give up and find what you love doing. Your work, your passion—if you don’t know what it is, invent it. But remember to give yourself the healing you deserve. Coz doing what you love is also Healing. ACCEPT, EMBRACE and NORMALISE IT

Last month, she announced her breast cancer diagnosis, and soon a report by Times Now claimed that Hina lost her role in the upcoming web series, Raapchik Reeta. She was about to play the role of a lawyer, but got replaced by Adah Sharma.
Hina is definitely an inspiration for all the people going through tough times. She proved that tough times do not last, but tough people do!
