The viewers are shown that 'Gabe' has always had a secret crush on his neighbour; however, 'Morgan' is entirely unaware of this. The story gains momentum when 'Morgan' finds out that her uncle, 'Tommy', who was drafted into the Vietnam War 60 years ago, has received a Christmas gift each year from the same anonymous person who helped their family survive after 'Tommy' left for the war.
