While both Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds never leave a chance to amaze us with their fun camaraderie, this one-time, the 36-year-old American actress left almost everyone in tears with her emotional appreciation speech for her husband, Ryan. We stumbled upon the viral video on the internet, which is a part of the 36th Annual American Cinematheque Awards ceremony held in November 2022. Blake Lively is seen standing on stage in a gorgeous yet sexy floor-length dress with a deep V-neck and golden floral pattern. In the clip, Blake says:
“I am his home, and our girls are his home. And just like that 19-year-old boy, he races home. Whether it’s across the globe or a meeting across the street, he is hard-wired to get home.”
Then, the camera focuses on Ryan Reynolds, who seemed a bit emotional while he was listening to the speech. His wife continued saying that he always returns home despite giving his work his level best. She further added:
“If he came home from set not in his wardrobe, we would be very concerned. Soaked in mud, fake blood, real blood, prosthetic scars, superhero suits, tap shoes, or clown makeup, Daddy always comes home. And that man races back to his real life like nothing I have ever seen, especially not by someone who’s able to be so all in his work and life.”

Blake took a moment to acknowledge her husband's strengths as a partner and father. Her heartfelt words visibly moved Reynolds, and the Gossip Girl alum ended her speech with a light-hearted remark, bringing smiles to everyone's faces. She said:
“He’s able to somehow be everything to everyone all at once. He’s the most present person you will ever meet. And yes, he creates magic in his work, but man, oh man, does he create magic in his real life. Home is where the heart is, which is why he gives so much of his heart back home.”
