Whitney Leavitt, one of the strongest dancers in the competition, was eliminated from the show just a week before the finale. The show's viewers have still not digested the news. 

On the other hand, Whitney Leavitt, famous for her stint on Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, is happy to have come this far on the show. She stated in an interview with Entertainment Tonight that every single week, she thought it would be her last night on the show. She added that all her dreams now seem to be unattainable. And well, Whitney Leavitt is right in a way as all her dreams have come true with the amount of earnings she made from the Dancing With The Stars season 34. How much did Whitney Leavitt earn from Dancing With The Stars Season 34?

According to a report in Variety, Dancing With the Stars contestants start off with the same salary in the initial weeks of the show. They get paid USD 125,00, which includes their training for at least 20 hours per week, and it starts several weeks prior to the premiere. 

However, the salary increases if a celebrity is able to get maximum votes and stays in the competition for a long time. So, yes, there is a financial incentive that motivates the contestants to do their best and continue to be part of the show. For stars who make it to weeks three and four, there is an added bonus of USD 10,000 per week.

If they make it to week five, the additional pay is USD 15,000. And then USD 20,000 per week when they reach six and seven weeks. In weeks eight and nine, USD 30,000 are deposited into their bank accounts. However, if the stars are lucky enough to reach the semi-finals and the final, there is an additional pay of USD 50,000 each week.

So, as per the total pay structure, Whitney Leavitt made it to the semi-finals, which makes her one of the highest-earning contestants. If the rumoured figures are correct, then we found out that Whitney Leavitt earned a total of USD 310,000 for her stint on Dancing With The Stars. However, if Whitney Leavitt had made it to the finals, her total earnings would have been around USD 360,000. But sadly, she was eliminated a week before the finals.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Whitney revealed that the show has made her even closer to her husband, Conner. She stated that she will forever be grateful for the opportunity, as she was able to see a different side of her husband. He chose to be a stay-at-home father, kept the house clean and took care of the babies while she was dancing and rehearsing. Whitney added that she has a small baby who still gets up in the night, and her husband would take care of him. Whitney admitted that if she were in her husband's place, she wouldn't have been able to do it without him.

For Whitney, it was all like a dream as she didn't think that she would be able to make it this far on the show. The gorgeousness after the elimination was seen dressed up in a sweatshirt as she spoke about her elimination. She revealed that every single week, she believed it to be her last. She was quoted as saying:

"I didn't even think I was going to make it this far, like every single week I would talk to Mark (Ballas) and be like 'I don't know, tonight might be the night, but I am happy with what we have done so far.' So I am so grateful, I don't know what that is, maybe it's the little kid in me who has all these dreams and felt unattainable, but now they feel within reach."

Dancing With The Stars Finale, When And Where to watch

Now, the show is in the finale week with the top five contestants, Robert Irwin, Dylan Efron, Alix Earle, Elaine Hendrix and Jordan Chile, competing for the prize money, title and trophy. They are the best of the best dancers who have delivered standout performances so far on the show. The grand finale episode will air on November 25, 2025. It will be a three-hour episode, which will air on ABC. The episode will have two dances from each finalist, who will perform a freestyle routine, as well as appearances and performances from eliminated contestants and past DWTS stars.
