Hrithik Roshan, who is famous for his exceptional acting skills and Greek god looks, left the internet disappointed after he was featured in a Pan Masala advertisement. Gone are the days when fans would love seeing their favourite star promoting stuff, which is not good for health. Nowadays, fans instantly call out their role models for promoting products that can harm society, and a classic example of the same is Shah Rukh Khan, Ajay Devgn and Akshay Kumar.
Recently, Hrithik Roshan became a subject of netizens' wrath after he starred in an advertisement promoting a Pan Masala brand. A video of the same went viral on the internet. In the clip, Hrithik channelled his best looks to woo the audience and romanced a model. While the concept was intriguing, in the end, one could see Hrithik enjoying a spoonful of the product before meeting his ladylove.
The visuals and Hrithik's look in the advertisement were impressive. However, his fans were left upset after seeing him promote a brand that people were urging everyone to boycott. The video was uploaded on Reddit, and fans expressed their hurt. One user wrote, "Hrithik has such a suave image and he ruins it in my eyes by doing this ad."
Another commented, "He only promotes betting and pan masala ads. Such a gorgeous face, but no good reputed brands hire him." One of the netizens pointed out that celebrities are paid in crores. The comment can be read as, "Anyone knows how much they are paid for such endorsements? It should be in double-digit crores, right?"

One of Hrithik's fans wrote, "Hrithik can't be this hard up in life to start promoting this crap product! Shame on these rich guys getting richer." Another user wrote, "Such high production, looks like a movie trailer & what are the impacts. Dirtying whole India with stains."

Akshay Kumar received a lot of hate last year for being part of Vimal with Shah Rukh Khan and Ajay Devgn. His fans thought he re-joined the brand after issuing his discontinuation. However, Akshay clarified that he had no connection with the brand ever since publicly announced the discontinuation. His tweet could be read as:
"Returns as ambassador? here's som fact check for you Bollywood Hungama, if by chance you are interested in things other than fake news. These ads were shot on 13th October, 2021. I have not had anything to do with the brand ever since I publicly announced the discontinuation of the endorsement. They can legally run the already shot ads till the end of next month. Chill and do some real news."
