QIt is very disheartening when life throws a googly at you by turning your most cherished one into a stranger. If the latest buzz in the Tinseltown is to be believed, famous Bollywood actress, Ileana D’Cruz might have parted ways with her ‘husband’, Andrew Kneebone. Fans who have been closely following Ileana must be aware of the fact that she was in a relationship with an Australian photographer, Andrew for several years. While the couple never spoke about their relationship publicly, she has referred to him as her ‘husband’ in the first social media post of hers that she had shared with him.
Recently, reports have been all over the internet and in newspapers that Ileana and Andrew might have called it quits. We wonder what might have gone wrong amongst the two for it was on July 19, 2019, on Andrew’s birthday, that Ileana had taken to social media to wish him. She had shared a lovely black-and-white picture of the two wherein she can be seen giving a peck on Andrew’s nose while softly keeping her arms around his neck. Her beautiful birthday wish for him was worded as "Happy Birthday, you gorgeous man. Wish I could've been with you today but hey, I kinda am!!!" Now, as per the latest reports, Ileana D’Cruz and her husband, Andrew Kneebone, have apparently unfollowed each other on social media amidst the rumours of their marriage hitting the rocks. In addition to this, the report also suggested that Ileana deleted all the pictures with Andrew from her Instagram account, which is inclusive of the birthday post we have mentioned in the preceding para. Also, as per a SpotboyE report, the couple isn’t on talking terms and are not even contemplating to get back with each other.
In an interview with the Hindustan Times earlier, Ileana had talked about Andrew and the hatred he was being subjected to. She was quoted as saying, “Initially, I was told to not speak about my relationship. And while I don’t have an issue talking about it, it’s unfair that people are being unnecessarily harsh to him (Andrew). It is unfair to subject him to harsh comments just because I am a celebrity. He is entitled to his privacy and respect and he deserves both in equal measure. He is a great person, and it did affect me when people left harsh comments on my social media posts. In 2018, when Ileana was present at the media interaction for the launch of Raj Kumar Gupta's, Raid, she was asked about her wedding with Andrew, and she had given a cryptic response. In a very subtle way, she had retorted, "Apparently! I don't know what comment to make. Professionally, I am doing well. Personally, also I am doing well. I am happy both ways. Thank you. I don't think there's any comment to be made. I have kept my personal life fairly private. I don't like to talk about it too much. But it's pretty much there for the world to see."
On the professional front, Ileana was last seen on the silver screen when she had starred opposite, Ravi Teja in a Telugu film, Amar Akbar Anthony. She had made her Bollywood debut seven years back with the film, Barfi, and will next be seen in Anees Bazmee's comic caper named, Pagalpanti. The movie, featuring John Abraham, Arshad Warsi, Anil Kapoor, Pulkit Samrat and Kriti Kharbanda in pivotal roles, is all set to hit the cinemas on November 22, 2019.
