Ileana D'Cruz Shares Post Stating 'It's Harder Than I Thought' After A Week Of Her Baby's Birth

Ileana D'Cruz embraced motherhood with the arrival of her baby boy, Koa Phoenix Dolan. While everyone thinks motherhood is an easy ride with only hand full of sleepless nights, Ileana's recent post hints otherwise. For the unversed, Ileana announced the birth of her first child on August 1, 2023. Since then, fans are eagerly waiting to know more about her journey, and how she copes with it.

Ileana D'Cruz shared an emotional note on the state of her mind after embracing motherhood

On August 13, 2023, Ileana re-shared a moving post by author, Jessica Urlichs on motherhood. In the note, the author revealed how a friend enquired about her well-being after embracing motherhood. Jessica responded that it had been tougher than she thought. She talked about days when she is swept up away from the beauty of motherhood, and then there are also days when she drags herself in a coffee-stained dressing gown with unwashed hair.

There were millions of thoughts going through her mind of Jessica while replying to her friend. But instead of baring her heart out, Jessica wrote that she was great and her baby seemed like a dream. Well, Ileana shared the complete note and also proved her state of mind.

Ileana kept her personal life away from the media glares. However, the entire nation was left shocked when Ileana announced her pregnancy, and they wanted to know the child's father. According to a report in DNA India, Ileana D'Cruza, who was in a relationship with Michael Dolan, got married on May 13, 2023, four weeks after the actress announced her pregnancy. 

When Ileana announced her pregnancy with a cutesy post

On April 18, 2023, Ileana announced the arrival of her first child. She posted two cutesy pictures on her IG handle. In the first photo, a onesie was lying on the bed; atop it was written, "And so the adventure begins." In the next photo, Ileana donned a dainty 'Mama' necklace. Alongside it, was the first time mommy expressed her joy in welcoming her first baby. She had written:

"Coming soon. Can’t wait to meet you my little darling."
