Former Pakistan Prime Minister, Imran Khan is in the headlines after reports claimed that he has been killed inside the jail. If media reports are to be believed, his sisters, Noreen Khan, Aleema Khan, and Uzma Khan, were insulted, humiliated, and dragged by their hair after they were spotted doing a protest outside a Pakistani jail.
Former Pakistan Prime Minister, Imran Khan's death rumours have been circulating. Reports claim that he has been assassinated inside Rawalpindi's high-security Adiala Jail. The news has sparked massive protests and confusion across Pakistan. The disturbing claims surfaced on social media that the Pakistan Army, led by Chief of Army Staff Asim Munir, had ordered Khan's killing inside the jail.

It is worth mentioning that the claims have been making rounds after several unverified accounts asserted that Imran Khan had been killed in custody. His dead body had been removed from the facility. Some Afghan media platforms also intensified the buzz. However, no official statement has been issued by the Pakistan government, prison authorities, or Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf party regarding the claims. A verified social media account of Baluchistan on X wrote:
"Reports are now surfacing from inside the prisons of PUnjabi Pakistan that Imran Khan, who was being held in custody, has been killed by Asim Munir and his ISI administration according to several news outlets. If this information is confirmed to be true, it marks the absolute end of terrorist Pakistan. The collapse of its last remaining legitimacy will begin the moment the truth is exposed to the world."
It is worth mentioning that Imran Khan's sister made a shocking accusation and revealed that at the age of 71, she was dragged by her hair and thrown violently to the ground. She was dragged across the road. Not only this, she also revealed that women present outside the jail were slapped and dragged. She demeanded that the IGP Punjab intiate proceedings against all the personnel involved in the scene.
They wrote a letter to Punjab police chief, Usman Anward and bared the ordeal that happened to her. She also highglighted that they were doing peaceful protest due to the concern of her brother's health. They neither block roads nor obstructed public and didn't even engaged in unlawful conduct. Yet without giving any warning, they switched of the streetlights, followed by a brutal assault on her. A part of her letter can be read as:
"We peacefully protested over concerns for his health condition. We neither blocked roads nor obstructed public movement nor engaged in any unlawful conduct. Yet, without warning or provocation, the streetlights in the area were abruptly switched off, deliberately casting the scene into darkness. What followed was a brutal and orchestrated assault by Punjab police personnel."
The cricketer-turned-politican is in jail in Pakistan since August 2023 with multile charges on him. However, fake reports about his death made headlinves ever since the govermnet put an undeclared ban on visiting him. His party, PTIreveale that Imran was kept in isolation and solitary confinement. After which, it was claimed that he was mysteriously killed and his body has been moved out.
