All about Imran Khan's third wife, Bushra Bibi

Bushra Bibi got married to Pakistan's former Prime Minister, Imran Khan, in a secret ceremony in 2018. It was Imran Khan's third marriage and Bushra Bibi's second. The two kept the festivities private and low profile. It is worth mentioning that Bushra was previously married for almost 30 years.

Bushra was born as 'Bushra Riaz Watto' and changed her name to 'Khan' after her wedding. She hails from a family of landowners in Punjab, Pakistan. However, not much about her family is known in the media. It is also reported that Bushra is a devotee of Fariduddin Masud Ganjshakar, or Baba Farid. He was a Muslim saint whose shrine is located in his ex-husband's hometown of Pakpattan, Punjab, Pakistan. 

Bushra Bibi was earlier married to Khawar Maneka

It is worth mentioning that Imran Khan's third wife, Bushra Bibi, was earlier married to Ghulam Muhammad Maneka's son, Khawar Maneka. Together, they were blessed with five children — three daughters and two sons. However, after a long marriage, they got divorced in 2017. 

Imran Khan's killed in jail, reports surface

Former Pakistan Prime Minister, Imran Khan's death rumours have been circulating. Reports claim that he has been assassinated inside Rawalpindi's high-security Adiala Jail. The news has sparked massive protests and confusion across Pakistan. The disturbing claims surfaced on social media that the Pakistan Army, led by Chief of Army Staff Asim Munir, had ordered Khan's killing inside the jail.

It is worth mentioning that the claims have been making rounds after several unverified accounts asserted that Imran Khan had been killed in custody. His dead body had been removed from the facility. Some Afghan media platforms also intensified the buzz. However, no official statement has been issued by the Pakistan government, prison authorities, or Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf party regarding the claims. A verified social media account of Baluchistan on X wrote:

"Reports are now surfacing from inside the prisons of PUnjabi Pakistan that Imran Khan, who was being held in custody, has been killed by Asim Munir and his ISI administration according to several news outlets. If this information is confirmed to be true, it marks the absolute end of terrorist Pakistan. The collapse of its last remaining legitimacy will begin the moment the truth is exposed to the world."

Imran Khan has been married three times. He was first married to Jemima Goldsmith, who was a British journalist. The two married in 1995 and were blessed with Sulaiman Isa Khan and Kasim Khan. But they parted ways in 2024. Later, Imran Khan married British-Pakistani journalist, author, and film producer, Rehma Khan in October 2014. But their marriage ended within a year and they parted ways in 2015.
