Weddings are joyous occasions that a bride and a groom celebrate in the attendance of their friends and family members. Especially yaar ki shaadi is an emotion, and it's understandable how overwhelming it becomes when you miss your best friend's most special day. Well, recently, a heart-melting video has taken the internet by storm, as an Indian bestie of a Pakistani bride had to attend the latter's nikah via FaceTime. Her face was smeared with joy and happiness, and her caption had left people feeling for her.
Recently, a social media user, Annaika Ahuja took to her IG handle and dropped a screen-recorded video, wherein she could be seen on a video call with her Pakistani BFF, who was all decked up as a bride for her nikah. In the video, Annaika was seen looking adorably at her BFF as she was dressed up as a bride. The bride looked gorgeous in a beige-toned lehenga. With bridal makeup and jewels, she finalised her look.
Well, after a while, another friend of the bride could be seen joining the video call, and they both were emotional seeing the wedding rituals, especially when the groom gave a sweet kiss on the bride's forehead after seemingly signing the papers. The bride later could be seen sitting on the sofa and blowing kisses to her friends post her wedding.
And such a heartwarming video is enough to melt people over. Didn't it remind you of your bestie who stays abroad, and you have to call them at every minor inconvenience? Similar is the case, but even something special as it was Annaika's Pakistani bestie's wedding. Well, thanks to the technology that bridged the gap between the duo. In her caption, Annaika bared her heart out and added that someone should just let her cross the border by crawling down the wires, just as shown in Bajrangi Bhaijaan. She also expressed her happiness over being able to witness her bestie's wedding. The caption of the video could be read as:
"Forced to watch my best friend's wedding on FaceTime because our countries can't get along."
The video has garnered a whole lot of attention, and in one day it got lakhs of likes. Netizens remained in awe of the clip and showered love while others had their different opinions. Mostly, all the netizens said that this video hit them like home. One user penned, "This is making me so so emotional." Another user commented, "I completely understand and get this. Fellow Indian with a Pakistani bestie." A third comment can be read as, "Can’t imagine I would want to jump out of the screen so bad, props to the person holding the phone the whole time."
