Indraneil Sengupta Denies Calling Marriage With Barkha 'Failed' After She Accused Him Of Cheating

Barkha Bisht and Indraneil Sengupta were once the most loved celebrity couple, but they parted ways on a sad note. Recently, Barkha opened up about her marriage falling and putting up with Indraneil's infidelity. Not only this, she also talked about the two out of fifteen years of her marriage, in which she did her best to save it. Now, Indraneil, in a podcast talked about his marriage should not be labeled as failed.

Indraneil Sengupta talked about his 'failed marriage' 

Recently, in an interview with Sanghmitra Hitaishi's YouTube channel, Indraneil expressed his wish of not calling his marriage as a 'failure'. He stated that the incident might be negative, but it has brought a lot of positive changes in him. Indraneil added that his marriage worked out for 13 years, but it didn't went on forever. He said:

"Although the incident is very negative, it has changed me in a lot of positive ways in terms of my personality development. My marriage, if someone says ‘it hasn’t worked out’, I would say it has. It has worked for 13 years. It didn’t go forever. Why is the idea of a relationship ‘forever’? It is good if it is forever. There have been good moments, very good moments and also bad moment."

Talking about the reason behind his divorce, Indraneil stated that they were two different personalities from day one, and with the passing years they became more different. He added that his marriage has not failed, their personalities just changed, and no one is wrong in it. He said:

"Two people have had their individual journeys, which is also together journey and no one is wrong. Sometimes personalities change. We were different people from day 1. As the years have passed, we have become more of ourselves. I don’t agree to the word failure. Nothing has failed. People will give the example of past generations. I have a say, which people may not like. In those days, most relationships worked due to dependency."

Meanwhile, in an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Barkha revealed that Indraneil is not in contact with their daughter for some months. Barkha stated that they are not co-parenting their daughter at all. She stated that Indraneil has been absent from their daughter's life, and she doesn't even miss him.

After almost four years of separation, Barkha Saha first time opened up about rumours about of Indraneil's extramarital affair with Ishaa Saha. She stated that she had confronted Indraneil about it, but his response was not satisfying. Further, Barkha stated that he made the choice to move out of the marriage. 

Barkha broke down and revealed that her heart was broken into pieces, and it felt like physical pain. Her belief in humanity broke. She claimed that it is the worst thing a man can do is to break a woman's trust.
