Influencer Orry Summoned By The Police, How Is He Involved In The Rs. 252 Crore Dr**g Case? Find Out

You might have heard of Orhan Awatramani, popularly known as Orry, for being a socialite and influencer. However, did you know that Orry recently found himself in trouble after being called for questioning in a Rs. 252 crore dr**gs case? If you are one of his 2 million Instagram followers or just interested in the case in general, here are all the details we have found on your behalf.

What is the Rs. 252 crore dr**gs case?

It all started when Mumbai Police found a hidden mephedrone-manufacturing facility located on a farm in Maharashtra's Sagil. There, the officers found 126.14 kg of MD (mephedrone), a type of synthetic stimulant. Following its complete seizure, it was reported that the uncovered stimulants cost up to Rs. 252 crore. According to the investigators, the manufacturing facility was reportedly controlled by Salim Dola and his son, Taher, both of whom were wanted dr**g traffickers. The father-son duo also allegedly used a Surat-based associate to supply them with raw materials. While the initial investigation happened almost a year ago, in March 2024, as the probe widened, the investigators realised that the Sagil manufacturing unit was only a small part of a much larger network. Furthermore, as claimed by the police, the dr**gs were being ferried in luxury cars such as BMWs and Mercedes, seemingly to avoid any suspicion. It is also reported that the profits they were making from the dr**gs were getting channelled overseas in secret via ‘hawala’ routes.

How is Orry connected to this dr**g case?

Orry's name came up in the police investigation after the deportation and arrest of Mohammad Salim Mohammad Suhail Shaikh, an alleged dr**g trafficker who is also a close aide of Salim Dola, made a series of explosive claims against Bollywood celebrities, influencers, and politicians. Shaikh confessed that he had organised various rave parties across India and abroad for several celebrities. According to the Anti-Narcotics Cell of the Mumbai Branch, these lavish parties were attended by actors, Nora Fatehi and Shraddha Kapoor, as well as her brother Siddharth Kapoor. Apart from them, in their remand application before a Mumbai court, the officers also brought up a handful of high-profile names, including rapper, Loka, Orry, and NCP leader, Zeeshan Siddique.

What's next for Orry in the dr**gs case probe?

According to an Aaj Tak report, Orry has been ordered to appear at the Anti-Narcotics Cell office located in Ghatkopar today, November 20, 2025. While the social media sensation will be questioned on this dr**g case today, it's not the first time that Orry has been embroiled in a substance-related controversy. Based on reports, earlier, Orry and seven of his associates were booked by the Jammu and Kashmir Police for allegedly consuming alcohol in a Katra hotel, which was located near the Vaishno Devi shrine. For the Rs. 252 crore dr**gs case, however, Orry's questioning today will act as a crucial factor in deciding whether the other celebs and influencers' names Shaikh brought up during the investigation truly hold any weight in the narcotics operation. This is because police officers believe it could easily be an attempt by Shaikh to get them off his trail and to send the investigation in the wrong direction.
