Ankit Kalra and Insha Ghai rose to fame with their funny couple reels on Instagram. The duo married each other in a lavish ceremony in February 2023. It was on August 20, 2024, just a day after her Rakhi celebration, Insha took to her Instagram handle and shared a photo of her husband, Ankit. She informed her fans about his sudden demise at the mere age of 29. Atop the photo, it was written, 'In loving memory of Ankit Kalra. 24-3-1995-19-8-2024'.
On August 23, 2024, Insha took to her Instagram handle and posted a selfie with Ankit as they twinned in white. Along with the picture, she penned a note on how she could never overcome the pain of losing Ankit and how their 1.5-year journey has been too short. In her words:
“Ankit, you left me to be with God, and it’s so unfair. Our 1.5 years together were far too short. That morning, I had no idea it would be our last. I’m still in denial, praying that this is all just a terrible dream and I’ll wake up on your side. Your heart gave up, and with it, my life has come to a stop. We had so many plans, and now I’m lost without you. This can’t be true. You left me behind, and it’s a loss I’ll never overcome! Heaven is so so lucky to have you."
Since Ankit Kalra's demise happened unexpectedly, everyone was left in utter shock about what might have happened. While some thought this news to be a mere prank, others worried that he had committed suicide. Well, Insha recently slammed all the misinformation that was spreading on the internet. She penned down a note and revealed that Ankit suffered a sudden cardiac arrest while sleeping, and he succumbed to death.
