As Kareena is celebrating her 43rd birthday on September 21, 2023, she opted for a low-key birthday celebration at her husband, Saif Ali Khan's ancestral house, Pataudi Palace. The diva rang in her birthday in the presence of her family members.
Karisma Kapoor also attended her sister, Kareena Kapoor's private birthday party, and she dropped some inside pictures from the same on her IG handle. To wish Bebo on her birthday, the doting sister shared a picture of her 'lifeline', Kareena cutting her birthday cake. Bebo looked stunning as she looked at the camera and cut her cake in the dim light setup. Karisma also dropped a picture of the yummy cake, that had a "Our Jaane Jaan Happy Birthday" tag adorned on it. Sharing the picture, atop it, Lolo wrote:
"Happy Birthday to my lifeline."

Karisma Kapoor also shared two stunning pictures with her little sister, Kareena Kapoor Khan, wherein they looked drop-dead-gorgeous in their respective attires. Kareena wore a mustard-hued embroidered kaftan teamed with matching trousers and completed her look with a ponytail. The birthday girl styled her outfit with statement earrings and off-white juttis and opted for dewy make-up. Lolo, on the other hand, looked beautiful in a white-hued co-ord set that included a kurta and matching cropped trousers. Completing her look with statement jewellery, minimal make-up, and white sneakers, Karisma opted for a free hairdo.

Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan's wedding gave rise to many controversies and was tagged as 'Love Jihad'. Once, in a conversation with Mail Today, Saif Ali Khan revealed whether his wife, Kareena Kapoor Khan had to convert her religion to Islam to marry him and added that he doesn't believe in the concept of conversion in religion for marrying a person you love. However, he thanked the Indian government for including this law in the Special Marriage Act. Saif could be quoted as saying:
“I would never want her (Kareena) to change her religion. That is the trouble with religion really… it expects conversion. I don’t buy or believe that. I think it’s good that the government, too, has, unless I’m misinformed about the law amended to include it in the Special Marriage Act. If and when we do get married, no one has to change his or her religion.”
