Miranda Lambert is among the most well-known faces in the country music industry. Her career began over two decades ago, in 2001, with the release of her self-titled debut album. Apart from her solo work, she also established a band alongside Ashley Monroe and Angaleena Presley called Pistol Annies. Over the years, Miranda has released several hits, including Fastest Girl in Town, It All Comes Out in the Wash, Bluebird, and more.
At present, Miranda Lambert is hogging the limelight after being featured in Ella Langley's recent music video for her single, Choosin' Texas. It is worth noting that apart from this, Miranda is also set to kick off her 2026 world tour in a few days, starting on April 11, 2026, in San Diego. With the spotlight on the singer's professional front, many have also begun to wonder about Miranda's personal life. So without further ado, let's take a look at Miranda's relationship with her husband, Brendan McLoughlin, over the years.

On November 2, 2018, Miranda Lambert and Brendan McLoughlin crossed paths on the set of Good Morning America in New York City. According to reports, Miranda was there to perform with her band, the Pistol Annies. On the other hand, her husband, Brendan, who was an officer with the New York City Police Department at the time, was part of the show's security.

Apparently, it was Miranda's bandmates who decided to play matchmaker between the two. In a New York Times profile, Miranda revealed that her girlfriends, the Annies, saw him and knew that she might be ready to hang out with someone. This led them to invite Brendan to their band's show behind Miranda's back.

About three months from when they first met, Miranda and Brendan tied the knot on a farm outside Nashville on January 26, 2019. However, the couple did not reveal the news until weeks later. On February 16, 2019, Miranda finally announced their nuptials on Instagram, writing, “In honour of Valentine's Day, I wanted to share some news. I met the love of my life. And we got hitched! My heart is full. Thank you, Brendan McLoughlin, for loving me for… Me.”

For those unaware, Miranda was previously married to fellow country singer, Blake Shelton, for 10 years before they called it quits in 2015. Since she had a huge wedding and everything about her marriage and divorce with Blake was public, Miranda later told People that it was the very reason to keep her marriage with Brendan as private as possible.

Miranda and Brendan made their red carpet debut as a couple in April 2019, at the ACM Awards, which was held in LA. For the occasion, Miranda stunned in a form-fitting lime-green gown, while her husband looked dapper in a classic black tailored suit. That night, Miranda performed a solo medley and was later joined on stage by George Strait as part of an ACM Flashbacks series to honour classic country songs.
According to a report by People, Miranda and Brendan spent their first Christmas together in the former's home state of Texas. From a series of photos posted on Instagram that day, it seemed like the couple were joined by Miranda's brother, Luke, and his husband, Marc, all of them dressed in plaid.
