Punjabi singer and actor, Babbal Rai, is well known for his hit track, Tera Naam. He made his debut with the album, Sau Putt: The First Chapter. Moving on to his personal front, the singer and actor tied the knot with Punjabi actress, Aarushi Sharma, in July 2025. Whenever it came to his personal life, Babbal has always kept it under wraps, and thus, the couple got married in an intimate wedding ceremony. Babbal is Sikh, and Aarushi is Hindu, so the duo exchanged the vows, following both Hindu and Sikh rituals. Let’s jump deep into having a look at their pictures from their dreamy wedding ceremony.

On July 15, 2025, Babbal Rai took to his Instagram handle and shared some beautiful pictures of his dreamy wedding with Aarushi Sharma. The couple had two wedding ceremonies, incorporating rituals from both Hinduism and Sikhism. For the Hindu wedding ceremony, Babbal donned an ivory sherwani and wore a white turban adorned with a red and gold kalgi. He made his look royal by wearing a multilayered necklace, made of pearls. Aarushi looked gorgeous in a red and gold Kanjeevaram saree, wearing a matching dupatta draped over her head.

She accentuated her look by wearing a statement choker, long layered necklace, maang teeka, jhumkas and red choodas. For the Sikh wedding ceremony, the couple visited a gurudwara and prayed for their togetherness. In this ceremony, Aarushi wore a vibrant pink Patiala suit, while Babbal looked handsome in a pastel sherwani and a matching pagdi over his head. The bride completed her look by wearing maang teeka, red and white chooda, and traditional kalire. Sharing the pictures, Babbal tagged his wife, Aarushi Sharma and captioned the post as "Grateful", followed by a red heart.

Jassie Gill gets teary-eyed during Babbal Rai and Aarushi Sharma’s reception

A video from Babbal and Aarushi’s reception has surfaced on the internet. In the video, famous Punjabi singer Jassie took the stage to sing for the newlyweds, Babbal and his wife, Aarushi. However, he couldn’t complete his song and became emotional. The two friends hugged each other and became teary-eyed. The song Yaara Teri Yaari Ko in the background made the moment heartfelt.

Babbal Rai was born on March 3, 1985, as Simranjeet Singh Rai, in Samrala, district Ludhiana, Punjab. In 2010, he made his debut with the album, Sau Putt: The First Chapter. Besides being a singer, Babbal is also an actor. He began his acting career with a special guest appearance in the Punjabi film, Singh vs Kaur. In 2014, he also featured in a dual-role cameo alongside Jassie Gill, Yuvraj Hans, Binnu Dhillon and Jaswinder Bhalla, in the film, Mr & Mrs 420. On the other hand, Aarushi Sharma is a native of Himachal Pradesh. She is well known for securing the crown as Miss India 2016. Aarushi first stepped into the glamour world through beauty pageants. She featured in many Punjabi music videos.
