In a tragic turn of events, the entertainment world woke up to the news of Malaika Arora’s father, Anil Arora’s tragic death. As per reports, he passed away after committing suicide on September 11, 2024. He reportedly jumped from the sixth floor of the building. There are a lot of rumours pertaining to Anil Arora’s death.

Investigating officer issues statement after Malaika Arora’s father’s death

Now, the investigating officer has issued an official statement regarding Anil Arora’s death. In a video doing rounds on social media, the officer was seen talking to the reporters stationed outside Malaika’s father, Anil’s house. When asked about the reason behind Anil Arora’s death, the officer stated that the prima facie looks like suicide and his entire team is looking further. He also stated that the forensic team is looking at the case from all the angles.

Malaika Arora’s mother, revealed what happened on the morning of Anil Arora’s death

Malaika Arora’s parents, Anil Arora and Joyce Polycarp parted ways many years ago but lived together in the same flat. According to reports, Joyce gave a detailed statement to police officials after her husband's demise. If sources are to be believed, Malaika’s mother said that Anil used to sit on the balcony and read the newspapers every morning. 

Joyce further shared that she saw her ex-husband, Anil’s slippers, in the living room early in the morning. So, she went to the balcony to look for him. However, she could not find him there. Suddenly, she heard the building watchman shouting for help. So, she leaned over the balcony to see below and found her husband lying on the ground. 

Ever since the news of Anil Arora’s death flashed the headlines, there have been many rumours doing the rounds. Some claimed that Anil was battling depression and was unwell for quite some time. It should also be noted that he was admitted to a hospital in Mumbai in 2023, but the reason behind the same is unknown.

Malaika Arora looked shattered as she visited her parents' house after her father’s death

Malaika Arora was reportedly in Pune when her father committed suicide. As soon as she received the news, the actress rushed back home and was spotted by the paps. In the video shared online, Malaika looked shattered as she reached her parents' home. As soon as she got out of the car, Malaika was seen wiping off her tears.
