Invincible turned out to be one of the most successful adult-animated shows on Amazon Prime Video when it premiered in 2021. After two more successful seasons, the series is returning with a fourth installment on March 18, 2026. New characters have been entering every season, including powerful villains, leading to confrontations with 'Mark Grayson' and the 'Guardians.' The brutal action sequences and non-stop entertainment featured in all the episodes have now created a different kind of excitement for Season 4.

The show is adapted from a comic book series, also titled Invincible, published by Image Comics. The comic’s publication started in 2003, leading to 144 issues, eventually ending in 2018. The series is created by Robert Kirkman, and the fourth season’s teaser arrived in October 2025. The official trailer was released last week on January 22, 2026, and it has hinted at more thrilling moments, repeating the formula of the previous seasons. The trailer of Invincible Season 4 came out last week. It marks the reunion of 'Mark Grayson' and his father, 'Omni-Man,' as they team up to face another threat. The release date was confirmed as March 18, 2026, by Amazon Prime Video towards the end of the trailer on January 22, 2026. Users of Prime Video with a subscription to the streaming platform would be able to access the new season of the series. Prime Video is already available in more than 240 countries and territories.

Robert Kirkman has hinted at more brutality in Invincible Season 4

In a recent interview, the show's creator, Robert Kirkman, said that the brutality in Invincible Season 4 won’t be the same as viewers have witnessed in the previous three installments. Robert said that the brutality is going to have an emotional touch, which will also “catch people off guard.” Robert stated in the interview that the basic aim is to ensure that the spectacle is reciprocal and emerging from the emotional angle included in the main storyline.

Talking about the main plot of Season 4, the world is recovering from the destruction created due to the fight between 'Mark Grayson' and 'Conquest.' Season 3 ended with 'Mark' making a promise that he would do anything to save his family if they were threatened by anyone. 'Mark Grayson' remains committed to the promise he made, bringing him face-to-face with another threat that might change the fate of humanity.

Conquest is reported to be an important part of the show this time. Furthermore, Robert Kirkman has said in an interview that Season 4 would feature Mark going on a journey to find his true identity, and this is one of the main highlights of his storyline as he enters adulthood.

A majority of the characters would return in Season 4 along with the voice actors. The new entry this time is Lee Pace, who will give his voice to 'Thragg,' the main villain, making his debut on the show. For the unversed, 'Thragg' is the Grand Regent of the Viltrum Empire and one of the most powerful Viltrumites. He has been leading the Viltrum Empire after the first Emperor died and aims to establish the rule of the Viltrumites in the universe.

The main cast of Invincible Season 4 would remain the same as in the previous seasons. Steven Yeun will be voicing 'Mark Grayson,' followed by Sandra Oh for 'Debbie Grayson' and J.K. Simmons for 'Omni-Man' or 'Nolan Grayson.' There is also Gillian Jacobs as 'Atom Eve,' Seth Rogen as 'Allen the Alien,' Walton Goggins as 'Cecil Stedman,' Malese Jow as 'Dupli-Kate,' Kevin Michael Richardson as 'Monster Girl,' Sterling K.
