Aamir Khan and Reena Dutta’s daughter, Ira Khan is equally talented as her perfectionist father. Ira has been spreading awareness among the masses about mental health through her experience with depression. While everyone is waiting for this talented star kid to announce her Bollywood debut, Ira has already made her debut behind the camera with a theatre production, Euripides' Medea in 2019. The play, an adaptation of Euripides' Greek tragedy, Medea had starred her brother, Junaid Khan and actress, Hazel Keech.

Ira Khan had spent the 2020 lockdown with Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao and Azad Rao Khan before shifting to her apartment in July. Then, a few months after she had moved to her own apartment, Ira had introduced her fans to the love of her life, Nupur Shikhare. Ira had made her relationship Insta-official in Valentine's Week. She had posted a couple of pictures with Nupur and had asked him, '#whaleyoubemine' on Promise Day. On May 31, 2021, Ira Khan took to her IG handle and shared a video of some adorable moments with Nupur Shikhare to profess her love for him. In the video, we can see Ira and Nupur's special moments as they party together, camping, birthday bashes, training session and many more. Ira captioned the video as “You’re my anchor. #love #dreamboy #hashtags feel stupid. I love you soo much, cutie!”
On May 8, 2021, Ira had turned 24 and Nupur had wished her in the most adorable manner. He had taken to his IG handle and had shared two pictures of his lady love, Ira. The first picture had featured a toddler Ira looking at the camera with bewildered eyes. The second picture which is a recent one, had Ira playing with her pooch. Nupur had penned a sweet birthday wish alongside the pictures, which could be read as "Hi @khan.ira. Happy Birthday My Love... On April 9, 2021, Ira Khan had taken to her IG stories and had shared a sketch of her, made by her boyfriend, Nupur Shikhare. Sharing the sketch, Ira had written, “How?! You've only drawn twice in your life! That's so good!” atop it. Nupur had reshared it on his IG stories along with a heart and hug emoticon. On March 26, 2021, Ira Khan had posted a mushy picture with her boyfriend, Nupur Shikhare, as they had enjoyed a movie night. The couple had posed happily for the selfie taken by Ira. While Nupur had looked handsome in a black t-shirt, Ira had looked gorgeous in a grey ensemble.
After the curfew on weekdays and weekend lockdown was imposed in Maharashtra, Ira Khan had shared a cute monochrome selfie with her boyfriend, Nupur Shikhare, On April 8, 2021. Ira had reposted a selfie with Nupur, originally posted by him on his IG story, in which the two could be seen gazing at each other and making funny faces. Nupur had captioned the black-and-white selfie with Ira as "Ready for the lockdown" followed by a red heart emoji.
