Is 'Cross' Star Aldis Hodge Married? Personal Life Of The Prime Video Crime Thriller's Lead Explored

Aldis Hodge is well-known to everyone for the roles that he has portrayed throughout his career. The actor is additionally famous for being the brother of actor Edwin Hodge, who has played 'Dante Bishop' in The Purge films, released between 2013 and 2016. Outside the entertainment industry, Aldis Hodge has been active in many other fields. He has been a horologist and formed his brand of watches, known as A. Hodge Atelier. Aldis is also a writer and painter at the same time. He started his acting career on Sesame Street in 1993. Hodge continued appearing in many other shows, including NYPD Blue, Pacific Blue, Judging Amy, City of Angels, and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.

Aldis Hodge made his film debut with Die Hard with a Vengeance in 1995. He even gave his voice in the animated film, Happy Feet. Aldis has been featured in other movies like Jack Reacher: Never Go Back, The Invisible Man, Black Adam, The Dutchman, and more. He has been appearing as 'Alex Cross' in the Amazon Prime Video series, Cross, since 2024. Other TV shows in his credits include Supernatural, The Walking Dead, Underground, City on a Hill, and Leverage: Redemption. Aldis Hodge has not confirmed his relationship status so far

Aldis Hodge has always preferred to keep his personal life away from the limelight. He is reportedly married to classical painter, Harmonia Rosales. Although the news is not confirmed until now, Harmonia and Aldis have once collaborated in an art series called Through the Looking Glass at an art show in Los Angeles in 2018. While his wife’s identity remains unknown, Aldis had once referred to her during an interview with Essence in 2024. Hodge was questioned about how he has managed to adjust his schedule between work and personal life. Aldis responded by saying:

“My wife is out here helping me figure out how to be as present as possible if I’m not physically there. My mom, my sister, my brother, everybody’s jumped in to really make sure that the unit is strong and that my little mama knows she is loved and she knows her family and that she understands what family is.”

Aldis Hodge has spoken about his daughter on various occasions

Apart from his wife, Aldis Hodge has also kept the identity of his daughter a secret. However, he has not stopped talking about his child on various occasions. During a conversation with GQ in 2022, Hodge said that his daughter was born premature, following which she was in the NICU for around two months. Aldis even recalled in the interview that the medical staff used golden heart stickers to hold the wires and breathing equipment at that time. Aldis Hodge told ETalk in 2024 that his life had changed a lot after becoming a father. The actor described his daughter as the joy and light of his life. 

In the same year, Aldis appeared for an interview with The Grio and told the outlet that he has a lot of concerns as a father since there are certain things that he might not know. Hodge stated that there could be situations where he has to have a conversation with a person so that he can have the necessary things and be the right teacher for that individual. In 2025, Aldis told Ebony that being a father helped him a lot to play the role of 'Alex Cross' in Cross. He addressed the same by saying:

“I played parents before, and it was always from a perspective of, ‘Oh, this is what my mother did for me, so this is how I think this would go’ - the idea of a parent. Now that I am a parent, my relationship with my TV children is more authentic. What I get to reflect is a bit more earnest, honest…. in that I know what this really means to me.”
