Popular actress, Isha Koppikar is one of the most successful actresses of her time. From working and gaining fame in the South Indian film industry to making a name for herself with her contribution to the Hindi film industry, she also worked in Marathi cinema. The actress is happily married to her husband, Timmy Narang and they have an adorable daughter, Rianna. Although everything is going quite smooth in her life at the moment, there was a time when her affair with the late actor, Inder Kumar was the talk of the town.
Even after Inder Kumar and Isha Koppikar had parted ways, the actor was reportedly still in love with the actress. Although the Wanted actor had tied the knot three times, but he couldn't move on from the time he had invested in his relationship with Isha. Once, in an interview with a news portal, Inder Kumar's ex-wife, Sonal Kariya opened up about the reason behind their divorce and how tough it was for her, as she was pregnant at that particular time.

In a candid conversation with SpotboyE, Sonal Kariya talked about her marriage with the late actor, Inder Kumar and what it was like to live with a person, who hadn't moved on from his past. Reflecting on the same, Sonal had clearly stated that it was her husband's love for Isha Koppikar that led to the end of their marriage. The ex-wife admitted that Isha was her husband's first love and he couldn't forget her, and he continued meeting her even after their marriage. Sonal also added that there were times when she had told her ex-husband, Inder, to bring Isha home if he wanted to meet her. But the late actor never brought her home and always preferred to meet her outside. She had said:
"He couldn't forget Isha Koppikar. I think it was a case of 'first love cannot be forgotten'. At times, he used to tell me that he is going to meet her. I even told him to get her home sometimes, but he did not."
Going further in the interview, Sonal Kariya also opened up about her ex-husband, Inder Kumar's relationship with Isha Koppikar, after their divorce. Recalling the same, Sonal admitted that even after she had parted ways with Inder, the latter continued being in touch with Isha. Even though the actor had never told anyone about his feelings for Isha, it was quite easy for Sonal to sense his feelings for the actress. Sonal also added that even before her marriage with Inder, people had told her that Inder hadn't moved on from his chapter with Isha. However, she had ignored the red flags, which turned out to be true after their wedding. She had said:
"I think he was in touch with her even after we divorced each other. He wouldn't show it too much and he didn't tell me either - but I could sense that he couldn't shake off Isha from his mind. Maine shaadi ke time bhi suna tha that he hasn't forgotten Isha but I ignored that hearsay."

In the same interview, Sonal Kariya had also revealed that when she had informed her ex-husband, Inder Kumar, about her pregnancy, the latter was not interested in it. The ex-wife shared that it was heartbreaking for her to witness the way Inder had reacted to her pregnancy. Not only this, but Sonal also admitted that Inder used to abuse her physically, but it was quite common for her. Reflecting on how Inder had slipped down deep into drugs and started getting frustrated day after day because he wasn't getting any work, Sonal shared the factors affecting their married life, other than Isha Koppikar. She had explained:
"I had moved out from his life when I was pregnant. I informed him that he has become a father to a girl but he was least interested, he didn't even respond to that message. Haan, woh sab (domestic violence) to chalta rehta tha. And then you know, there came a point where I couldn't take it any longer. Add this to his habits - drugs and alcohol. It became very tough on me. Of course, I did. I tried every trick in the book to cleanse him up - but nothing worked. He was also very frustrated because films were not happening to him. He was in his own world for a large part of the day."
After her divorce from Inder Kumar, the actor's ex-wife, Sonal Kariya had tied the knot with a person named, Deepesh and together, they had welcomed another daughter, Khushi. On the flip side, Inder had got married to Kamaljeet Kaur in 2009, and the duo got divorced in the same year. After which, he tied the knot with Pallavi Saraf in 2013, but the duo parted ways in 2017.
For the unversed, it was on July 28, 2017, when Inder Kumar had passed away due to cardiac arrest in his Andheri bungalow.
