Ishaan Khatter is one of the most versatile talents in Bollywood amidst his generation of actors. He made his debut with the film, Beyond The Clouds. However, he received widespread acclaim with the film, Dhadak opposite Janhvi Kapoor. Being the sibling of Shahid Kapoor, and son of actor parents, Neelima Azeem and Rajesh Khatter, Ishaan has carved his own mettle in Bollywood. Since he belongs from a background of highly established stars, Ishaan has always been faced with the pressure of being compared to all of them. However, he has gracefully answered them with his charming looks, breakthrough dance forms and incomparable acting mettle.
In a recent interview with Mashable India, Ishaan Khatter opened up about an unheard childhood anecdote of his life, where he revealed bonding with the legendary actor, Amitabh Bachchan at quite a young age. He mentioned that he visited the sets of Amitabh’s then-film, Sooryavansham, along with his mother, who played a part in it. Elaborating more on it, he mentioned:
“My mom did a film with him called Sooryavansham. I was 2-3 years old at the time. Mom used to take me to the set with her because I was too young and she didn’t have a nanny. So I was with her on the set and Amitabh Bachchan came. I had seen his film Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. I saw him and started screaming ‘bale miyan, bale miyan’. He noticed me. So we kind of became friends apparently. I used to pull his beard or something like that.”

In the same interview, Ishaan revealed that his friendship with Amitabh had turned so strong, that he eventually helped him in getting an admission in school. Heaping praises on the legendary actor, Ishaan highlighted that Amitabh Bachchan helped his mother, who was struggling with getting him into one of the nicest schools, and even went further to speak to the authorities personally. In his words:
“At that time, she was trying to get me admitted into a school and Jamnabai was then one of the nicest schools. She was having trouble getting admission for me there and he very kindly, personally went and spoke to the authorities.”
On July 23, 2023, Ishaan Khatter was spotted by a bunch of paparazzi, as he zoomed in and around the city on his swanky bike. However, what caught everyone’s attention, was the presence of a mystery girl as Ishaan’s pillion rider. The girl is reportedly Ishaan’s new love interest, after he broke up with his Khaali Peeli co-star, Ananya Panday.

Apart from his professional life, Ishaan often grabs the limelight for his personal life. For the unversed, right after his debut film, Ishaan was said to be in a serious relationship with his then-co-actress, Janhvi Kapoor. However, the duo broke up due to reasons best known to them. Thereafter, Ishaan was speculated to be dating Ananya Panday. The duo were steady together for quite some time, when apparently Ananya moved on with her Liger co-star, Vijay Deverakonda.
