Ishita Dutta and Vatsal Seth are one of the most adored couples on Indian television. The actors tied the knot in November 2017, and it was in July 2023, that they welcomed their first child, Vayu. The couple often shares glimpses from their lives with their little one, and it’s all things adorable. However, their recent post on Valentine’s Day might not be just another romantic post; it seems that the family might be expanding soon.

Ishita Dutta’s Valentine’s Day post with Vatsal Seth hints at pregnancy

On February 14, 2025, Ishita Dutta took to her IG handle to share a series of romantic pictures with her husband, Vatsal Seth. In the photos, Ishita looked pretty in red, whereas her hubby, Vatsal looked sharp in a black tuxedo. However, it wasn’t just their picture-perfect looks that grabbed attention — it was her caption in the post that had fans reading between the lines. Tagging Vatsal in the post, Ishita wrote:

"9 years of knowing you, 8 years of loving you, 1 little love we created… and soon, our hearts will grow again. Ek Valentine post toh banta hai @vatsalsheth."

The phrase, ‘soon, our hearts will grow again’ has created a stir online, with many fans speculating whether the couple is hinting at the arrival of baby number two. The actress’ comment section was instantly flooded with congratulatory messages. One fan wrote, “New member?”, while another commented, “‘Our hearts will grow again’; is it a pregnancy announcement???”.

When Ishita Dutta shared her ‘mom guilt’ upon rejoining work postpartum

Ishita and Vatsal welcomed their baby boy, Vayu, on July 19, 2023, and after a year of having him, the actress resumed working. However, leaving an infant behind to focus on work is a challenge that no working mother is a stranger to. In an interview with Hindustan Times, the Drishyam actor shared how, while excited to return to work, she was also reluctant to do so. However, her family members and husband, Vatsal, supported and encouraged her for it. She shared:

“The decision to get back to work was very tough. I thought I would come back after six months, but when the time came to say yes to any project, I felt reluctant. But, my parents, in-laws and husband all said, ‘We are here to take care of Vayu.’ Vatsal and I both plan our schedules according to him.”

Talking about the mom's guilt that was eating her, Ishita reflected on how difficult it felt to decide the number of days she should wait before going back to work. Ishita also admitted to having felt separation anxiety from her child. She remarked:

"Every working woman goes through that guilt. That first day when you have to leave your child and go to work will always be hard, be it six months or two years. A mother will always have that separation anxiety; I had it too, but I made it."

On the work front, Vatsal Seth was last seen in the 2023 film, Adipurush, whereas Ishita is currently keeping her distance from the limelight.
