From comedian, Akash Gupta to Youtuber, Dhruv Rathi, social media influencers and internet sensations have booked this year's wedding season to get hitched. Now, it is time for the comedian and actor, Varun Thakur, to step in that direction. For the unversed, Varun Thakur and his then-girlfriend, now-wife, Nikita Sahota have been dating each other for a long time.

On December 7, 2021, Jab Tak Hai Jaan fame, Varun Thakur took to his IG handle and shared a beautiful picture from his lavish wedding to announce the good news to the world. In the picture, Varun and Nikita can be seen wearing their shaadi ka joda, and looked absolutely gorgeous. Sharing the picture, Varun wrote a goofy caption, which can be read as, "Paid partnership with @nikitasahota." Nikita also shared the same picture on her IG handle with a very cute caption. She wrote it with heart emoticons:

Varun and Nikita opted for a subtle baby pink theme for their wedding couture. While on one hand, Nikita wore a beautiful pink-coloured lehenga choli embroidered with an eye-catching silver thread. She completed her look with a golden and different coloured stone-studded kundan neckpiece, chandbalis and a maang teeka. She kept her look subtle with smokey eyes and blushed cheeks. On the other hand, Varun looked dapper in a pastel pink-coloured sherwani and paired it with a pink pagdi.
Varun and Nikita got hitched in the laps of the exquisite scenic beauty of the Mahabaleshwar in a close-knit wedding ceremony. Nikita also shared another picture from her wedding diary, giving a broader view of the royal floral decor, which they kept simple but enchanting. Varun and Nikita got married according to the Sikh wedding rituals with lavan phere.

But comedian, Atul Khatri's comment was the hilarious one. He chimed in the comment section and wrote:
