'Jamtara 2' Actor Sachin Chandwade Dies By Suicide, Last Instagram Post Was About Upcoming Film

In a piece of tragic news, Sachin Chandwade, who was a young Marathi actor and was seen in Jamtara Season 2, died by suicide. The actor, aged 25, and the alleged incident took place at Undirkhede, Parola taluka, Jalgaon district, as per a report by the Maharashtra Times. It was on October 23, 2025, when the young star was found hanging at his home. Now, amid the tragic news, Sachin's last Instagram post has surfaced, which spoke about his future work commitments.

Sachin Chandwade's last Instagram post was six days ago, related to his future project

Sachin, since childhood, had an adoration for acting. He pursued the same by working in the movie industry in Pune and Mumbai. The actor had a supporting role in Jamtara 2, which was aired on Netflix on September 23, 2022. Now, six days before his demise, Sachin posted a behind-the-scenes from his upcoming movie, Asurvan. The late actor revealed in his post about playing the role of 'Soma' in Asurvan and that the film will soon hit cinemas. The note read:

"Presenting you from the movie 'Asurvan'. Actor Sachin Chandwade in the role of 'Soma'. Marathi film. Writer, Director- Sachin Ramchandra Mango. Creator - Dream form. Executive Producer - Sagar Mango. Asurvan soon in cinemas."

The release date of late Sachin's next movie, Asurvan, has not been announced. However, now that the post went viral, his fans started writing, "RIP Bhava. Miss you dada." Few even penned, "Miss you bhai. Rest in peace." Sachin, apart from following his passion in acting, was also an engineer working in Pune's IT Park.

Sachin Chandwade was transferred to a hospital, but could not be saved

After Sachin was found hanging at his home, his family members immediately rushed him to a hospital located in Dhule. The team of doctors there tried their best to revive him, but sadly, he could not be saved. It was on October 24, 2025, when Sachin passed away at 1.30 a.m. after his condition worsened. Sachin was known for balancing two varied careers —one in acting and the other in software engineering. His friends and family members called him as someone who has been a determined and a grounded person whose performance fascinated all since his childhood.

Sachin Chandwade was set to appear in Asurvan

Just a few days before his untimely death, Sachin had taken to his Instagram handle to reveal to his fans about Asurvan. The movie directed by Sachin is set to have Pooja Moily and Anuj Thakare. Sachin reportedly was set to play a big role, as well as the lead, in the film. The promotions of Asurvan had just started when the untimely death news of Sachin cast a shadow of grief over the news of the movie.

Why did Sachin Chandwade end his life?

Reportedly, Sachin ended his life on the top floor of his home. He was taken to a private hospital, but neither his family nor his friends could save him. It is reported that during the medical treatment, the actor passed away. Sachin was balancing his life as a software engineer, managing the tech as well as the entertainment business. An investigation into why Sachin ended his life is underway, and the Parola Police have registered a case of accidental death. The reason behind why Sachin ended his life has not yet come out.
