The makers of the movie have not given any official statement or confirmation related to the same.

Thalapathy Vijay's movie, Jana Nayagan, will reportedly coincide with Pongal 2026, according to a Pinkvilla report. Now, if Amazon Prime Video acquires the rights of the same, then post the theatrical run of the film, fans of the Tamil star will surely go berserk knowing that the movie will also be available on the OTT platform. Even a report by Let's Cinema on X (formerly Twitter) confirmed that Jana Nayagan would be released on Amazon Prime Video after successfully completing a theatrical run. However, it is interesting to note that Thalapathy Vijay has not made any comments related to the same.

Thalapathy Vijay to play the role of a police officer in Jana Nayagan?

For the unversed, Jana Nayagan will be a political action drama movie that will be directed by H. Vinoth. Reportedly, Thalapathy Vijay will be seen in the role of a police officer and shall have a dramatic as well as an intense look. Jana Nayagan is also set to have Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol in the lead cast. It is interesting to note that Pooja Hegde will be collaborating for the second time with Vijay post Beast in 2022.
