The diva could be seen spreading her infectious energy, and she didn’t seem to have any cold feet or nervousness. However, what grabbed our attention was the way in which Janhvi wittily demanded kindness from her audience for her first stand-up performance, by stating how the audience didn’t do the same during her film debut. She stated:
“With a first time performance, you have to be a little kind, which some of you weren’t with my debut film.”

For instance, back during the press meet for the Filmfare Awards 2024, the talented diva recalled a fond memory about her mother, Sridevi. Janhvi remembered choosing an outfit for the latter, as they were to attend the former’s first Filmfare Award ever. She narrated:
“I’d pick out her dress. I still remember the first Filmfare Awards show I went for; I had picked out this black gown that she had worn. Toh main haath pakad kar pohoch jaati thi unke saath."
Previously, in an interview with Elle, Janhvi Kapoor revealed how her mother, Sridevi advised her to deal with the inevitable comparisons she could face with the latter. Being a star daughter, Janhvi has often been helmed with the question of living up the legacy of her mother, thereby adding the pressure of comparison.
