Janhvi Kapoor Leaves Rekha In Awe Of Her, Alleged BF, Orry Makes A Stylish Entry At 'Mili' Screening

Bollywood actress, Janhvi Kapoor is a well-known actress in Bollywood, and she has been working hard to mark her name in the Hindi film industry. Daughter of late actress, Sridevi and filmmaker, Boney Kapoor, Janhvi made her Bollywood debut with the film, Dhadak. Later, she went on to woo the audience with her spectacular performance in movies like Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, Roohi and Good Luck Jerry.

Janhvi Kapoor has collaborated with her father, Boney Kapoor for the first time. The father-daughter duo are working on the film, Mili, which will soon hit theatres. The thriller drama showcases Janhvi's struggle with being stuck in a freezer at a hospital. The trailer of the film promised that the audience will see her performing yet another challenging role.

On November 3, 2022, Janhvi Kapoor hosted the screening of her film, Mili, and many stars graced the event. The paps spotted Janhvi's best friends, Sara Ali Khan and Ananya Panday as they arrived to support her. While Sara donned a black crop top and off-white pants, Ananya looked stunning in a blue crop top and denim pants. Meanwhile, her alleged boyfriend, Orhan Awatramani was also seen making a stylish entry at the event. 

In one of the videos shared by the paparazzi, Janhvi Kapoor can be seen meeting the ever-so-gorgeous actress, Rekha at the event. While she donned a beige-hued sharara set, Rekha looked stunning in a white and grey saree paired with statement earrings. As Janhvi approached the veteran actress, the latter was simply in awe of her and gave her a tight hug. Moreover, Janhvi also thanked Rekha for being a part of the event and admired her saree look.

In an interview with The Times Of India, Boney Kapoor talked about working with his daughter, Janhvi Kapoor for the first time as a producer in their upcoming film, Mili. He had shared that Janhvi has many good qualities as an actor, which reminds him of his late wife, Sridevi. The proud father heaped praises on his daughter, Janhvi and mentioned how gets inside the skin of the characters that she portrays in her films. In his words:

"Janhvi is one of those actors for whom you don't have to choose a particular kind of role. You pick a good script and she will fit into it, which is very rare. The good thing about her is that she doesn't play the part, but she becomes the part, which was the hallmark of her mother and all good actors."

For the unversed, Mili is the remake of the popular Malayalam movie, Helen.
