She made her debut at the 78th Cannes Film Festival, and a snap of the actress went viral, where her visible plastic surgery scars are seen. There has always been a constant chatter of the actress undergoing liposuction, and now, in a picture that went viral, netizens alleged that Janhvi's scars were pretty visible.

Janhvi was at Cannes 2025 for the screening of her movie, Homebound. She had worn an Anamika Khanna gown, and netizens in the viral snap saw her symmetrical scars just above the elbows. They shared that it looked a lot like liposuction scars. As seen in the snap, it was from the premiere of Homebound where Janhvi's gown had a golden layered bodice with a backless design, coupled with a silk green skirt, along with a long train in the back.

Janhvi was seen wearing traditional Indian jewellery that was custom-made of jade, and also was seen wearing jhumkis, ear cuffs, a golden kada, a back chain and bangles. Netizens agreed that she had lipo scars and shared that her arms just look disproportionate to the rest of her body. One Redditor commented, "Is there any kind of surgery this girl has not gotten? She should be featured in plastic surgery textbooks at this point." Another user even shared, "True …. 0% natural 100% plastic and the sad part is after all these major appearance alterations for Bollywood she is not even good at acting.. at this point she is only an eyecandy and nothing else."

There was another user who shared that Jahnvi has been busy correcting her natural self since her teenage years, that she has no time for acting. One even commented, "There is a scar in her underarms too that she sometimes doesn’t conceal. I don’t know exactly what that is for. Jahnvi is Plastic Sundari." One even commented, "I mean, pretty evident that she’s had lip because her arms don’t match the rest of her body. They’re very thin and frail. Not that there’s anything wrong with any of it, but her proportions aren’t natural."

"I look mesmerising. I look breathtaking. I cannot wait to eat. They are going to say it is plastic, but who cares?"
