Yet in another segment of the chat show, Janhvi Kapoor was asked by Karan Johar to reveal how she first dated Shikhar Pahariya, post which they broke up and she moved on with someone else. Probing her further as to why she again returned to the former, Janhvi answered with a hilarious anecdote about her patch-up story with Shikhar. In her words:
“Have you heard that song, Nadaan Parinde Ghar Aaja? Shikhar used to sing that to me a lot.”
While speaking to Karan Johar, Janhvi Kapoor also discussed about her choice to never date any actor in her life. For the unversed, she was previously said to be dating Kartik Aaryan. The diva mentioned her belief of how such a relationship always ends up being turbulent. Moreover, she emphasised that two people in the same profession are sure to have clash of desires, causing a kind of tension, which she doesn’t want in her life.

Previously, in a conversation with Kusha Kapila for the show, Swipe Ride with Tinder, Janhvi Kapoor opened up about a memory with her mother and late actress, Sridevi. The diva remembered the moment her mother learnt that she was seeing a guy in school. Recollecting her mother’s reaction to the same, Janhvi said:
“Mumma came to my school when she found out this guy had a crush on me. She came to school and complained to my teacher. She barged into school, and she’s like, I did not send her to the school so all of this rubbish could happen.”
