Jared Goff's Wife 'Almost Walked Down The Aisle' To Quincy Instead Of The NFL Star, 'I Saw Him..'

However, his wife, Christen Goff, has also captured the spotlight for her unexpected revelation about their wedding day.

Ever since Jared Goff was traded from the Los Angeles Rams to the Detroit Lions, the quarterback has experienced significant success both on and off the field. The NFL star tied the knot to his lady love, Christen Goff, in June 2024, months after he led the Lions to their first home NFL playoff game in 30 years. The couple has been going strong ever since they welcomed their first child, Romy, in July 2025. However, now Christen has revealed that there was someone else she had her eyes on when she walked down to the altar.

Christen and Jared Goff's relationship began in 2019 when they met on a dating app in Los Angeles. Six years later, the couple has hopped on the forever train and welcomed an adorable little angel as well. However, did you know that their fairytale romance also has another angle? Talking about their wedding day on the Netflix series, Quaterback, Christen revealed that there was someone she almost walked down the aisle to, and he still lives with her and Jared!

The actress and Sports Illustrated swimsuit model was referring to the apple of her eye and Jared's dog, Quincy. Christen Goff revealed that she could not imagine her and Jared Goff's big day without the presence of their little fur baby. She added that she even saw Quincy before she saw her groom and 'ALMOST' walked down the aisle to him. She was quoted as saying:

"I couldn’t have imagined the day without him. I saw him before I saw Jared. I walked down the aisle to him almost."

The wedding was not the first time Quincy got entangled in their family dynamics. The NFL star. Jared Goff would refer to his future wife as 'Quincy's stepmom' until they got engaged, at which point she became 'Quincy's real mom'. He even joked about how he knew that Christen was the one for him when Quincy decided to call her 'mom'. He was quoted as saying:

"Quincy decided to call her 'Mom', so I said, 'OK.'"

Jared and Christen have now been happily married for a year, and the two are now dog parents and real parents. The bond in their family unit of four is built on the level of trust Christen earned by embracing Jared's best friend, Quincy, even on their wedding day.
