Who is Christen Harper?

Christen Harper is not just known as NFL star, Jared Goff's wife. But she even has a massive career of her own. Christen was born in 1993 in California and studied at the California State University. She took up modelling around the same time to pay for her college and made a continuous growth. Soon and established herself as one of the top-rated fashion and swimwear models in the industry.

However, the biggest high in her career came when she became the finalist in SI's 2021, Swim Search competition and became a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model. How did SI model, Christen Harper meet Jared Goff? 

According to Heavy Sports, Christen Harper and Jared Goff, they initially met through the celebrity dating app, Raya in 2019. The model initially shared the thought that the NFL star had messaged her first, but she later confirmed that she had made the first move. Soon, they began dating in 2019, but kept it under wraps. However, Christen's occasional appearance at LA Rams games raise eyebrows. Recalling the moment in a video take for SI, she said:

“I was truly not looking for anything at the time. I had just gotten out of a long relationship and I was trying to stay single for a year. Then I met him and the rest is history, baby.”

When Jared Goff was traded to Detroit Lions, Christen stood by him and they got engaged after a year in June 2022 after the QB popped the question with a romantic proposal in Mexico. Christen Harper shared the moment with their fans through an Instagram post and mentioned the date in the caption to celebrate a new beginning in her life. Recalling their move, she told NY post:

"We've always been in California, so there was an excitement to a fresh start, but at the same time, my whole career has been in L.A. and I did not know what it was going to look like moving away from that, I feel lucky to kind of start branching out into doing different things.”

After a long wait of two years, Christen Harper and Jared Goff tied the knot in June 2024 surrounded by their family, close friends and several of his NFL teammates. Their wedding pictures went viral across NFL community and social media pages in no time. They welcomed their daughter, Romy Isabelle in July 2025.

Majority of the Detroit Lions’ fans know Christen Harper well, as she is constantly seen supporting Jared through the stands. Her fashion, excitement, outfit choices often go viral on the internet. "At the end of the day it's a game, and of course it's important; for us, it's our life, and it's his life. But all those other people there, they're just there for entertainment. And they're gonna say things, and they're drunk, and they're whatever.”
