Jashwanth Bopanna Reacts To Cheating Allegations After Breakup With Akriti Negi, 'It's Difficult...'

Akriti Negi and Jashwanth Bopanna emerged as the winners of Splitsvilla 15. The couple stood strong and continued to go on with their strong bond despite several challenges that came their way. They were tagged as the ideal match on the show, and after the same, they started dating. The duo's mushy clips on IG often used to leave their fans in awe and they had been together for six months. Recently, Akriti and Jashwanth broke up, and fans accused the latter of cheating on the former. Well, Jashwanth finally broke his silence on the same and revealed the actual reason for their breakup.

Jashwanth Bopanna reveals why he decided to break up with Akriti Negi

Jashwanth Bopanna recently sat for an interview with ETimes, wherein he was asked about the reason for his breakup with Akriti Negi. Talking about the same, Jashwanth shared that he and Akriti decided to call it quits as he felt that the balance in their relationship shifted over time. He added that he believes that a relationship can work if both of the people are equally invested in it, but for him and Akriti, their bond didn't feel right after a time. He called the decision of breaking up with Akriti a difficult one but made with respect and understanding. Talking more about the same, Jashwanth shared:

"We decided to part ways because, over time, I felt the balance in our relationship shifting. I realized that a relationship thrives when both people are equally invested, and somewhere along the way, that connection didn’t feel the same. It was a difficult decision, but one made with respect and understanding which was needed."

Since the time Jashwanth Bopanna and Akriti Negi's breakup buzz began, their fans blamed it on the former and stated that he might have cheated on his girlfriend. Addressing the allegations, Jashwanth shared that just because he is giving clarity on his and Akriti's breakup to fans and supporters, it doesn't mean that he was at fault for their relationship, and he is not the only one who is responsible for their breakup. He further added that people who are saying that he had been unfaithful, barely have the idea about the truth. Jashwanth can be quoted as saying:

"Just because I’m the only one giving the fans and supporters some clarity doesn’t mean I’m at fault in the relationship, neither am I the only one responsible for the breakup. People are jumping to conclusions, stating that I’ve been unfaithful or that I didn’t give the relationship a chance, but that’s far from the truth. I’d like to put those rumours to rest."

In the same interview, Jashwanth Bopanna shared that he doesn't hold anyone to blame and he also doesn't have any kind of hard feelings for Akriti. He added that there had been some confusion, but he is sure that with time clarity will take place. He also remarked that he is trying to move on, and requested his fans to provide him and his ex-GF with privacy and support them as individuals.

After the same, Akriti said that she knew that Jashwanth was the one, while the latter stated that he couldn't believe that they didn't do it sooner. While appearing in Filmygyan's interview, Akriti was asked about her marriage plans with Jashwanth. To which, she said there's nothing as of now, while Jashwanth was teasing her.
