Jasmin Bhasin and Aly Goni are one of the most popular celebrity couples in the television industry. The celebrity duo, who fell in love on the sets of Bigg Boss 14, has now embarked on a new journey as they moved together in a new apartment in Mumbai. While both Aly and Jasmin were quite emotional about leaving behind their old apartment, the duo shared their own set of emotions attached to their homes.
Jasmin became emotional when she left her self-made house ‘Santosh Niwas’. She shared how she made the house with hard-earned money. On May 17, 2025, taking to her Instagram Stories, she wrote a heartfelt note. The note can be read as:
“Never thought it will make me so emotional to leave this space which I made my home, my safe place. As I always say, your firsts are always special — this one will be too special because I built it and decorated every corner of this house with so much love and every penny that I earned over years with my hard work. Will miss you, my Santosh Niwas.”
Earlier, on May 14, 2025, Jasmin’s boyfriend, Aly Goni made a vlog on their YouTube channel, where he became quite emotional. The video featured him and Jasmin as they were prepping to shift to a new house leaving behind their own old homes. Aly shared that he is equally sad and happy at the same time as leaving behind his old home makes him melancholic while moving together with Jasmin gives him joy. Aly was quoted as saying:
“I don’t know where to start. I am really happy that Jasmin and I are moving together, but somewhere I am very sad because it is not easy to leave the house where you have spent so many years. I have been living in this apartment for the past 4 years. It’s the most difficult part to leave. Itni saari yaadein hai — bura time, accha time, sab dekha hai iss ghar mein.”
Aly earlier shared how he and his girlfriend, Jasmin had to face difficulty in finding a new place to stay as he is a Kashmiri Muslim. Even though he is a well-known face in the TV industry, he has to go through discrimination. During an interview with the InControversial Podcast, the actor shared how landlords, who were mostly old didn't allow them to give rooms. Addressing the same, Aly said:
"I have never faced discrimination in the industry for being Kashmiri. However, I faced it a lot during the house hunt. Aaj bhi hota hai. Jasmin and I were searching for a house, but many people rejected us, saying, ‘Hum Muslims ko ghar nahi dete.’ The majority of them were the old people."
