Popular television actress, Jasmin Bhasin is undoubtedly one of the renowned names in showbiz. The actress, who has appeared in some of the hit TV serials and reality shows, turned another year older on June 28, 2024. On this special occasion, she sat for an interview and spoke at length about her personal and professional life, and she didn’t miss out on talking about her beau, Aly Goni.
During her conversation with India Today, Jasmin talked about her resolution for the coming year and shared that she would want to strike a balance in her life. She revealed that being a giving person, she often tends to do a lot for people close to her. However, she wanted to change that this year. Adding that people often take people like her for granted, Jasmin said:
“I have always been a very giving person. Sometimes, I tend to do a lot more for people close to me. This year, on my birthday, I have decided that I’m going to strike a balance and understand how much to give and do for a person. People tend to take you for granted sometimes, especially someone like me, who is a very emotional person.”

Continuing her thoughts along the same lines, Jasmin said that she also loses her temper when people take her for granted, or things do not go her way. This is the exact reason why she only has a handful of friends, whom she keeps really close to her heart. Revealing that she had made up her mind to draw a line this year, Jasmin said:
“But, it’s not that I don’t get angry or upset. I also lose my temper when things like these happen, which is why I have a few good close friends who I keep very close. But otherwise, this year, I will surely choose to draw a line and not cross that boundary where I start feeling empty inside, but still, I will try to be my best version because, that way, I would get to know the real faces of people.”
In the same conversation, Jasmin discussed her relationship with Aly Goni, whom she has been dating for over four years now. The actress mentioned that her beau brings masculine energy into her life. Because of this, she has started taking risks in her life, knowing well that she has someone to fall back upon. In her words:
“Aly brings that certain masculine energy into my life. I have been living alone in this city for a very long time. There’s always that certain male energy that we women need, which comes from a father, brother or partner. Because I live so far away from my family, Aly brought that male energy into my life where I have started feeling more confident and being more open to taking risks, because I know that now there’s somebody to fall back upon. I know that I at least have a companion, who I can put my head on his shoulders and cry out my failures, which makes me feel more comfortable and protected and also more confident.”

Furthermore, Jasmin recalled how the behaviour of her extended family members changed over the years. She mentioned that initially, some of her relatives were against her decision to enter the industry; however, when she made a name for herself in the industry, those only started showing up at her home. Jasmin also highlighted she felt lonely when friends, who were once her support system, changed due to her successes and failures. However, she has now understood not to expect from anyone.
