Hardik Pandya went through a lot at the beginning of this year, both personally and professionally. The player, who is loved for his massive 6s and 4s, as well as for targeting the wicket just perfectly, faced booing when he replaced Rohit Sharma and became the captain of Mumbai Indians for IPL 2024. However, Hardik kept on smiling and proved his mettle at the ICC T20I WC, and turned the booing into applause. In a recent interview, Jasprit Bumrah revealed the hardship that Hardik faced back then.
In an interview with the Indian Express, Jasprit Bumrah was asked about Hardik Pandya's situation. The pacer revealed that the team doesn't promote the fact that one has to take it on the chin, and instead, they all were by Hardik's side. Bumrah shared that certain things are beyond control, and what happened just happened. He also added that the situation changed as soon as India won the World Cup trophy. Bumrah can be quoted as saying:
"That’s where the inner circle comes in. We, as a team, don’t encourage that, we don’t promote that. We don’t think that’s warranted. We were with him, talking to him, if he needed support. Certain things are beyond your control. If it happened, it happened. The narrative just changed, when we won the World Cup. This is part of the journey. It’s us against the world. We will try to give as much support as we can."

Not just on the professional front, but Hardik Pandya has gone through a lot in his personal life during that time. His now ex-wife, Natasa, was nowhere to be seen in the stadium to support him, which raised speculations that the couple might have parted ways. Well, Natasa's IG activities also added fuel to the fire. After a lot of gossip on the same, Hardik and Natasa had addressed the rumours and shared that they had mutually parted ways.

The couple released a joint statement and revealed that they had given a lot in their marriage to save it but couldn't; thus, they would go different ways but would co-parent their son, Agastya. Currently, Agastya is in Serbia with his mumma, Natasa. On the other hand, the media is rife with the news that Hardik had allegedly found love again in the arms of a British singer, Jasmin Walia. While there is no confirmation of this, the duo's identical photos from the same location left people joining the dots.
