A month back, Richa and Ali welcomed their baby girl into their lives. The couple issued a statement and declared the news of their baby girl's arrival. Although, the couple didn't reveal the face of their princess, Ali and Richa provided their fans with some adorable glimpses of their baby girl. Recently, Shabana Azmi revealed that Javed Akhtar had suggested a unique name for Richa and Ali's daughter.
In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Shabana Azmi shared that she, Richa Chadha, Tanvi, Urmila, Dia, Vidya Balan, and Konkana Sensharma are part of a group called 'Dher Sara Pyaar'. Talking about their viral photo with Richa and Ali's baby girl, Shabana mentioned that they all planned to throw a baby shower for Richa, but that couldn't happen, which is why they all went to pay a visit to the little princess of Ali and Richa. Talking about their group, Shabana added that it is filled with happiness and that there's a sense of family feelings. Shabana added:

"On that day, (actors) Sandhya Mridul, Konkona Sensharma and Vidya Balan were missing, as they weren’t in town. We wanted to have a baby shower for Richa, but that couldn’t happen. So, this was just a visit to see the child. This group is like a family. The joys that you get with family is what you get in this group.”

Talking about Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal's baby girl's name, Shabana Azmi mentioned that the couple has given a very beautiful name to their daughter. She didn't reveal the little one's name but shared how Javed Akhtar wanted to name Richa and Ali's daughter, Jwala Ali. Sharing the reason for Javed choosing such a unique name, Shabana added that her husband told her that Richa herself is a firebrand, thus her daughter should have an equivalent name. Shabana can be quoted as saying:
"Javed suggested they name her Jwala Ali. When I asked him why, he said Richa herself is such a firebrand, her daughter should have an equivalent name. But they have given her a beautiful name already.”
It was back in July 2024 when Shabana Azmi shared a lovely photo with other Bollywood actresses, who could be seen surrounding the newbie mommy, Richa, along with her little princess in her arms. In the photo, we could see Dia Mirza and Urmila, among others, and their faces were smeared with delight.
