Javed Akhtar is known as the magician of words. He is the one, who can beautifully depict the emotions of a lover with his words. Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga is one such song that talks about the first love. Recently, Javed Akhtar received a huge honour from a London University, in the presence of his wife, Shabana Azmi and his son, Farhan Akhtar. And his family penned adorable notes for him.
On September 8, 2023, Farhan Akhtar took to his Instagram handle and posted a cute family picture from the event. In the photo, we can see Javed Akhtar decked up in a robe and a cap as he received the honour from the London University. We can see Shabana Azmi posing alongside him, and she looks super proud. Farhan Akhtar was also present at the event to support his father. Alongside it, he wrote:
"Congratulations @jaduakhtar on being awarded Honorary Doctorate of Literature from SOAS @university of London."

Not many know that Javed Akhtar was earlier married to Honey Irani and had two kids, Farhan Akhtar and Zoya Akhtar. However, soon, he fell in love with Shabana Azmi, and as they say, if you are in love, there is no right and wrong. So, the couple surpassed all the hate directed towards their relationship and married each other on December 9, 1984.
Over the years, Shabana Azmi has created a loving bond with Javed's first family, Honey Irani and their kids, Farhan Akhtar and Zoya Akhtar. We have often seen them going out on dinners together and showering love on each other. However, in a media interaction, Shabana revealed that Honey Irani had supported her by not poisoning the minds of her kids, Farhan and Zoya, towards her.
