Jay Bhanushali Was On A Vacation With His Daughters, Sans Wife, Mahhi, Just Before The Divorce News

Jay Bhanushali and Mahhi Vij have been hitting the headlines with their divorce buzz for a while now. The couple, who got married in 2010, reportedly filed for a divorce after being separated for a while. Jay and Mahhi are parents to three kids, and just before sources revealed that the duo had filed for a divorce, Jay was sharing glimpses from his recent trip to Japan with his kids. Well, it was Mahhi's absence that grabbed the attention, given that their divorce buzz has been rife, though not officially confirmed.

Jay Bhanushali and Mahhi Vij's divorce buzz has been going on for a while now, which mainly started after the duo stopped sharing each other's photos on social media, raising concerns. Following this, Mahhi had dismissed the buzz about their split several times. However, Hindustan Times recently revealed that the couple had actually filed for divorce a few months ago, after a long separation.

Jay and Mahhi are yet to comment on the same, while the actor has recently been sharing several glimpses from his Japan vacation with his daughters, Tara and Khushi. Mahhi was nowhere to be seen in the photos, which intensified the couple's divorce buzz. Mahhi seems to be in her locality, as she has been sharing IG stories featuring the same, while Jay was busy with his daughters on vacation.

Mahhi Vij earlier sat for an interview with Hauterfly, when she was asked about the divorce buzz around her and Jay. To this, she gave a diplomatic answer, stating that people who asked her this question aren't her relatives so that she won't reply to the same. She also criticised those who have an interest in her personal life, asking if they would pay for her lawyers. She also added in the same interview that people with zero knowledge of her life keep commenting on her and Jay's relationship, just for their own fun, even when something ugly actually happens. Following this, she also posted an IG story, in which she slammed false reports about her and Jay's personal life, calling the reports shameful and tactics to gain traction, and nothing else.

Mahhi Vij and Jay Bhanushali met each other back in 2009 at a mutual friend's party. One year later, in 2010, the couple crossed paths again during clubbing, and their bond instantly deepened. The couple dated for a while before marrying in the same year. Four years later, Jay and Mahhi decided to renew their wedding vows. In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Jay said that when they got married for the first time, he invited everyone, but no one came, as they felt he was a Casanova. Well, it was in 2017, when Jay and Mahhi became parents to their caretaker's kids, and in 2019, they welcomed their biological daughter, Tara. It was earlier this year, when their divorce buzz began, and reportedly in July-August 2025, the couple filed for divorce.
