Jay Bhanushali And Mahhi Vij Were Accused Of Abandoning Their Foster Kids, 'It Will Hurt Our...'

Jay Bhanushali and Mahhi Vij are leading the headlines after they announced the news of their divorce nearly after 16 years of their marriage. The duo got married secretly in 2010 and later confirmed it on November 11, 2011. Jay and Mahhi first embraced parenthood after they adopted their caretaker’s kids, Khushi and Rajveer. In 2019, they welcomed their biological daughter, Tara.

Post the birth of Tara, Jay and Mahhi were seen posting glimpses of Tara, while Khushi and Rajveer were rarely seen in their social media posts. The couple, who used to travel with their foster kids before Tara's birth, were seen going on vacation without them. However, netizens relentlessly trolled and accused the couple of abandoning Khushi and Rajveer after Tara's birth.

Mahhi, who is known for calling a spade a spade, reacted strongly to the accusations that she and Jay neglected their foster kids after the birth of Tara. In a lengthy Instagram post, Mahhi revealed that Rajveer and Khushi were not abandoned by them and that they were in their hometown with their extended family.

Mahhi, in her post, also stated that it pains her and Jay that people are questioning their love for Khushi and Rajveer and claiming that they have ‘abandoned’ the children. In her words:

“So to all of you who may question why you aren't seeing them with us or feel that we've abandoned them, please don't! It pains us and it will hurt our children when they grow up. For us all our three children are equally loved but two of them though living in their hometown are still precious for us. Our video calls and frequent exchange of messages keep us close to them and that's a decision which none of us have a right to interfere in.”

When Mahhi Vij gave a befitting reply to a troller targeting her relationship with her foster kids

Mahhi once shared a lovely moment of her three children, Tara, Khushi, and Rajveer. In the video, Rajveer could be seen smothering his baby sister, Tara, with kisses before leaving with his sister, Khushi, for a few months in their hometown. Mahhi had also shared pictures bidding her kids farewell. However, later ,a troller messaged Mahhi, "Aapko ab kya farak padta hai. Since Tara has arrived, you love her only. Rajveer and Khushi are now a burden for you. If not, why did you send them for months?" Sharing the screenshot of the message, Mahhi blasted on her and wrote:

"Madam apki soch bahut ghatiya hai."
