Television stars, Jay Bhanushali and Mahhi Vij are living the best phase of their lives along with their kids. For the unversed, the duo tied the knot in 2011, and after seven years of marital bliss, they decided to become foster parents of their caretakers' kids, Khushi and Rajveer. Afterwards, on August 21, 2019, Mahhi and Jay were blessed with a little angel, whom they named Tara. Being avid social media users, the star couple keeps updating their fans with stunning glimpses from their family. However, time and again, the duo have also faced huge criticism for their lifestyle and choices.
On July 24, 2023, Jay Bhanushali and Mahhi Vij took to their daughter, Tara's IG handle and shared a video of the little kid. In the video, Tara was reading Namaz. She looked cute in a printed kaftan dress and teamed her look with a simple ponytail hairdo. Sharing it, the doting parents mentioned in the caption "Shukran," and added a folded hands emoji.

However, as soon as the video surfaced on the internet, Tara and her parents were brutally trolled. While one netizen mentioned, "Apke natak Ka hissa beti ko maat bnao Hindu hoke ye sab kuch sharam kro", another one wrote, "Aaj tk mujhe Tara ki har vedio axi lgi but this is disgusting and disappointing jaha hindu jag rha h apne dharm ki taraf jaa rha Jai Shree Ram bol rha h waha ap apni beti ko ye sikha rhe h Hindu hokar." Afterwards, on July 25, 2023, Mahhi Vij once again took to Tara's IG handle and posted another video of the mother-daughter duo to give a befitting reply to the trollers. The video was from the mother-daughter duo's visit to a mandir, wherein the little one was seen joining hands in front of God to sought for blessings. Alongside the video, Mahhi slammed the trollers and wrote:
"Yeh un bakwaas logon ke liye ji hone dharm ko majak bana diya hai. You can unfollow Tara she doesnt want haters. As a mother i know what i am teaching goodluck to chothi soch wale log please get a life. Sad to see so much hatred. Meri beti ki chinta mat karo apne bachon ko sikhao."

Well, this wasn't the first time Jay and Mahhi faced huge criticism online due to things related to their daughter, Tara's upbringing. A while back, when Mahhi attended the birthday bash of Bharti Singh's son, Laksh, she got bashed for putting makeup on Tara. In a video shared by a pap, Mahhi was seen entering the venue with her daughter, Tara and her adopted kids, Khushi and Rajveer. However, the netizen was irked by the way Tara was dolled up. Mahhi had put red lipstick and winged eyeliner on her three-year-old daughter, which raised many eyebrows, and netizens flooded the comments section with hate comments for the actress. On the other hand, her adopted daughter, Khushi was not flaunting any makeup.
