Jaya Bhattacharya is one of the most famous faces of the Indian Television. She got overnight fame with her antagonist character named, 'Payal Parikh' in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. Jaya's character dominated the daily soap, which became a cult classic. Her portrayal was sharp, vengeful, but the actress now exclusively revealed why she was not seen in the reboot version of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2. Jaya Bhattacharya gives real reason for not being seen in the reboot of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi

Jaya Bhattacharya, back in the 2000s, redefined the definition of Hindi TV with Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. Her fans missed her in the reboot season, and the actress, in an exclusive interview with BollywoodShaadis, revealed why she did not enter the show. For the unversed, Jaya was shown as 'Mihir Virani' (Amar Upadhyay's) ex fiancee, who brought a storm in the life of 'Mihir'. Speaking of why the actress didn't do the reboot, she narrated:

"According to me in a serial it is always the story that is the hero. The others just adorn that necklace, that ornament. The story is the hero of KSKBT 2 and I don't know why I am not one of the gems of it. I will not question it at all. The hero is the hero. Would have been great if I had been there though it would have been great fun."

Jaya Bhattacharya reveals if her negative image has been broken with Delhi Crime Season 3

Jaya Bhattacharya's face has been best remembered for playing grey characters. However, in Delhi Crime, she is shown to be a patient and also a responsible cop named, 'SI Vimla'. At one end, the actress kissed fame with Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and speaking on breaking her image being associated with negative characters, she said:

"I am grateful. I would be so happy to say I have broken it but I hardly ever think so. People do remember Payal and the people in the field remember Payal so vividly that ofcourse what happens is I exude power. As a personality I exude power, am in control. I have that power of voice, stature, body language with doing all the animal work, fighting for animal, humans rights."

Jaya Bhattacharya reveals her source of strength before she gets into the skin of the character

Jaya's character in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi was not of a typical vamp, having unlimited evil traits. She was shown to be sophisticated, was rooted in ambition, and Jaya's complex character made her stand out. The actress was a part of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi but was not seen in the reboot. When asked on how Jaya derives her strength or if she has some source of inspiration before playing a role; she quipped:

"It is the character itself basically. It is the work. I love to act so it is motivating enough and whichever character comes to me I would think like what it would be like. How the character would behave. I am a tomboy mostly in my real life. I walk, talk different. But then as soon as I come into the character, into that look half the job is done."
