Way before Instagram came into existence, Jaya Kishori started her journey as a kathavachak and her kathas were telecasted on spiritual channels like Sanskar and more. She is a Krishna lover and a devotee. While people often confuse her as sadhavi, Jaya Kishori never claimed to be one. Now, she lashed out at people trolling her for carrying a DIOR bag.
In this modern world, it is quite easy to judge people without knowing about their background. A similar thing happened with Jaya Kishori as people slammed her for carrying a DIOR bag at the airport. They not only accused her of promoting fake spiritualism, but they even called out her for carrying a leather bag.

Now, Jaya Kishori gave a fitting reply and shared her side of the story. In an interaction with the ANI, Jaya Kishori stated that it was a customised DIOR book tote bag, not made of leather, and that is why it has her name. She further shared that she never used leather in her life.
Further, Jaya added that people who have attended her kathas know that she never promotes the concept that 'everything is moh maya'. She never preached that one should not earn money or renounce anything, while she herself has not. Jaya Kishori said:
"Jinhone meri katha attend ki hogi, unko ache se pata hai ki mai yeh baat kabhi nahi kehti. Mai katha mein kabhi nahi kehti ki ap paise mat kamaiye sab mooh maya hai, sab tyaag dijiye. Humne nahi tyaga toh apko kaise bol de."
In the same interview, Jaya further clarified that from the beginning, she never claimed herself to be a saint. Jaya Kishori is a simple girl who has friends and wants to live a grihasth life. She said:

"I have been very clear day one se, ki mai koi sant, sadhu ya sadhavi nahi hoon. Mai ek normal ladki hoon, normal ghar mein rehti hoon, parivaar ke sath rehti hoon aage grihasth jeevan purn roop se jeena chahti hoon."
Jaya stated that she never promoted vairagya and never claimed to have taken it. She goes on a vacation and lives a normal life. Jaya shared that she always tells the youth to work hard, live a good life, and give their family a happy life.
"I won't break your trust. I started my journey 22 years ago. I'm not so stupid that I would let go of the hard work that I have done in the last few years."
